“Bought the James Caird kit. Overpriced kit. Ridiculous piece identification “system” (crazy & inconsistent mix of letters & numbers, instructions use a DIFFERENT identification system, some parts not marked at all), flimsy construction, poor detail. Won’t be coming back.”

“I first came into contact with what was known as The Modellers Shipyard way back in the late 2000's. I have to tell you you have the model shipbuilders hobby industry absolutely cornered. The variety and astounding quality of the huge model wooden ships for instance knocked me for a loop when I first went through the very first catalogue I got from you back in 2008. Frankly I wouldn't buy these amazing model wooden ship kits from anyone else other than what you call yourselves these days as Modelers Central. I plan to buy and build others when I have relocated to an environment more conducive to this one of my very favourite hobbies.”

“I have been a customer of Modelers Central and it’s predecessor for at least 20 years and found their service exceptional. The range of stock is so wide than even though I have used at least 25 kits provided by them i have always found something new to choose and have never found it necessary to buy from another source. In addition to their kits their range of tools and other material is also extensive and their service is exceptional with orders being filled in very short time. The advice and support given by Gary and his staff is also worthy of the highest praise”
