“Had been looking for a leather sofa for sometime to go in our newly built Garden Room and like another purchaser came across an advert by chance for Old Boot Sofas. Researched, spoke initially to a lovely Lady in the office then on placing an order for my 'lovely Hepburn' sofa without viewing, spoke to Andy. Had lot of contact with Andy who was exceptionally knowledgeable and furnished me with lots information about the making of the sofa, care and history of Old Boot. Sofa arrived yesterday (yes Sunday delivery) by two helpful, professional, friendly delivery guys. Wow am I pleased. Sofa so well made and looks fantastic in my new Garden Room. Would not hesitate to recommend this fantastic Company and their workmanship to anyone. Thank you Andy and all the workshop staff who made my sofa.”

“Not only is the sofa just beautiful - but we had an accident with one of the covers - silly spillage - we tried to remove the grease stain but failed. We contacted Old Boot who told us to send the cover back . We did and within 2 days we had a brand new cover. Exceptional - exceeded our expectations . Would recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality sofa. Thank you Old Boot - very happy customer !”

“I spent an inordinate amount of time researching sofas - we hadn't bought a new one in 17 years and the cost etc was a bit daunting so finding the right sofa from the right company was imperative - most of the large highstreet sofa sellers just didn't seem up to scratch and I felt their products were inferior. I found Old Boot Sofas in a google search then read the reviews here and was immediately impressed - I also requested some leather swatches which came through the post - large swatches in a beautiful hand-stitched leather pouch that you could really see the colour and get the feel of - big enough to drape over sections of our old sofas - such great attention to detail and to the customer experience. However, I wasn't going to buy online without seeing the sofa first. I took a detour to their showroom and am extremely glad that I did! The team in the shop were fantastic and seriously knowledgeable - they talked me through the leathers, understood the people in the family and how we liked to sit etc, how tall we are, where backs and seats would come to on them etc etc and the whole conversation just felt expert and supportive. I clocked the St George from the corner of my eye and immediately fell in love with the sofa I'd seen online - this was definitely the one - sitting on it in the showroom put an instant smile on my face. I placed the order over the phone the next day, and had a follow up call and received a detailed email of how the sofa would be manufactured and how it needs to be cared for. Well, it arrived today and sealed my extreme satisfaction with Andy and the Old Boot Sofa team - it's just stunning - a really solid piece of furniture, smells fab, feels fab! The delivery team were awesome - polite, on time, called ahead with a two hour window and stuck to it. Moved their van when the neighbour asked them to. Just a superior experience from start to finish and I can't believe I'm lucky enough to be sat here on the St George in my living room typing up this review just a few weeks after ordering it. I really couldn't be happier or recommend them with any more confidence. I'll enjoy telling people about the Old Boot team as I'm sure we're bound to be asked! Thanks to all involved - top job!”

“Great service from start to finish. Showroom is not fantastic but the sofas are there to try, knowledgeable staff. Easy ordering process including building a non-standard snuggler to match the chosen sofa. All built on time with reassuring emails. Delivery guys were early but didn't knock until expected time and were efficient, careful and considerate. All in all - superb”

“We stumbled across Old Boot Sofas on the web and liked the "feel" of the site. Although we live on the south coast, we visited the showroom in Fulham and spent ages up and down the stairs, sitting and lounging on various sofas. We never felt rushed and the advice was sensible. After looking at some other options we ordered two Urbanites for our new barn and we're delighted with our choice. Good quality, good value and nice personal contact throughout. Would thoroughly recommend these guys.”

“We wanted a couple of comfy sofas that had that worn in look and were made of decent grade leather, we looked around and hit on the Old Boot. We visited their showroom in Fulham and were impressed by the quality of the leather and the fact the frames are made of Beech hard wood and the soft sales approach - very welcome. We ordered our Sofa, had a back up phone call from Andy going through the details and then it arrived in a short time. The delivery men were good professionals and got the sofas in with little effort and in good humour plus were very friendly. A couple of weeks later we had a little problem with one seat cover and it was resolved and returned within 3 working days with emails and phone calls to ensure we were happy with the service. It is a relief to have a company that actually cares about their customers and the fact they care about resolving any issues you may have is a breath of fresh air where others grab the money and show little interest thereafter. Thanks Old Boot, great products and great service.”

“It took about five minutes' wandering (and sitting) around the shop in Fulham (which I very much recommend doing) to convince me that this was the right place to buy my long-wished-for Chesterfield sofa. The quality is both obvious and, erm, deep-seated. This perception is reinforced by the time taken to describe the process of manufacture and the materials and craftspeople employed. After placing an order for a four-seat buttoned-base Graduate sofa and a Spectator wing back chair, I received two separate phone calls from Andy explaining the timetable for manufacture and delivery as well as their after-care policy and tips, all of which is very reassuring when spending what is, after all, a not inconsiderable sum of money. He kept in touch at every stage of the process by phone and email. Yesterday my new furniture arrived and now takes pride of place in my lounge, which looks and feels extremely welcoming and comfortable. It is now truly a room for living in. A huge thank you to Andy and everyone at Old Boot Sofas. I cannot recommend them, their service and above all their products highly enough. The furniture is beautiful, comfortable and very high quality. The whole experience has been a pleasure, and of a level of excellence that I feared had long been lost in this country. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.”

“I ordered my sofa online and was directly called to inform me when delivery would be and how they were going to build my sofa. Delivery arrived when they said it would by 2 friendly delivery men. I absolutely love my sofa and it looks fantastic. I only bought a 2 seater to put in large hallway. But I will be moving house within the next few months so I will be looking to buy the 3 seater and chair to go with my sofa. I currently have a Laura Ashley leather sofa in my living room, but I much prefer my Graduate from Old Boot. Couldn't recommend highly enough.”

“The entire process of choosing and ordering was a joy. The sofa is of superb quality & exceptionally comfortable. The website is very easy to use. We were kept informed of progress, and the sofa was delivered ahead of schedule. We wish we had discovered Old Boot earlier as their sofas are so much better than some we purchased a few months previously that were more expensive. Overall a superb company”

“We can't thank everyone at the Old Boot enough for the amazing service we received. When I placed the order for one large Historian and one sofa bed, to be delivered to Shaldon in Devon within 10 working days, I really thought they would laugh at me. Instead, they pulled out all the stops and made a point of delivering it themselves, to make sure we got them in time for our guests arriving. The Chesterfields are fabulous quality and look stunning. Everyone who has seen them has raved about them! “We were a little reluctant at ordering a sofa from the internet as ideally we would have liked to try the sofa out for size before buying - but after many phone calls and questions we placed our order. Old boot weren't sure if they could make the Christmas deadline so again after many phone calls they finally said it would be with us at the beginning of Christmas week. It was in fact ready the first week of December - but we weren't ready - the building work hadn't been completed by then - so they rescheduled a new delivery date and everything went smoothly. I really can't recommend 'Old Boot' enough - nothing was too much trouble, the sofa is perfect, looks stylish and is comfortable including the bed and the service received before, during and after delivery is second to none. The 100% no quibble money back guarantee if you're not entirely satisfied is reassuring when you don't live near the show room as you know that if there's a problem or you just don't like it you can get your money back. But I bet no-one ever does that as I can't see why you wouldn't be happy with your sofa. Even the delivery guys were great - it was cold, dark, windy and wet - but they were really helpful and jolly, they carried it in, unpacked it and put it in place - unheard of these days - I've had other deliveries when the delivery man has refused to bring the item inside! So once again can't fault 'Old Boot' service - would 100% recommend them. Thanks guys ;)”

“We choose the button 3 seater Graduate and could not be happier. Fantastic quality, excellent price and outstanding value for money. Great to have a confirmed British product which is 100% leather front, back and sides. Everyone was so helpful from choosing the style and then the leather to the team delivering the final product. We cannot wait to choose our next sofa to replace our tired and worn out two seater. Old Boot Sofa have been so helpful and we are looking forward to our next purchase.”

“Bought 2 new sofa's, one three seat , the other a two seat. The two seat is mine and sits in my bay window, the three seat is along the axial length of the room. They are fantastic, beautiful leather, custom sized and a reasonable cost for that service too. Nothing too much trouble and a thorough discussion once purchased on how they will fit and how they'll be installed / delivered. Cannot express how good they are and how pleased I am. I looked for some time before we purchased these, other manufacturers, standard suppliers.......these were the right decision.”

“My wife and I recently purchased a beautiful Hepburn which we are absolutely delighted with. I had high expectations based on the quality of reviews and also after a visit to the Fulham studio and these were exceeded. The thing that has impressed me even more though, is the real care and concern to help that Andy, Nathan and the team showed after a catastrophic 'incident' involving our pet dog who had disgraced himself by badly scratching our brand new pride and joy ! Within 24 hours of being contacted Andy had arranged for a replacement cover to be provided and personally fitted by Nathan and a colleague - fantastic service and the sofa is back to as good as new. The dog has been banished from the room !”

“I ordered my historian bed settee online. Within a day I had a call to explain exactly how the settee was made, how to look after it, when it would delivered. I asked for a specific delivery date which was a tight turnaround and they rang me back within an hour, said yes and it went brilliantly from there. An email to confirm progress. A call from delivery company to arrange delivery. I needed the settee for a specific weekend and was out of the country, I also live in a very hard to find location. The delivery team made a special trip (twice); found the house, rang me to confirm it was correct and left the settee as agreed very securely and having cleared up my garage a bit! They were excellent from start to finish and the settee is lovely, slightly firm but comfy and the bed is good. All round they were a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend them confidently.”

“We had been looking for two sofas for ages, before stumbling across Old Boot online and paying a random visit to the Wandsworth store. This was four months ago and our beautiful, robust and comfy Graduate and Judge just fit so well I had to leave a review. Yes, I know they're just sofas, but such robust, easy on the eye, classic keep in the family type sofas. Oh and yes, the help and support from Andy and team (from choosing styles/feet height etc. to delivery) was spot on. Philippa”

“Have just taken delivery of 2 lovely Historian sofas from Old Boot Sofas. Great leather quality and character with solid authentic Chesterfield styling on the frames. We also had the chance to customise details like the feet and the studding It was a bit of a pilgrimage up to the Fulham showroom, but well worth it as Andy was well infomed - he really knows his stuff - patient and answered all our questions. From start to finsih the entire process was amazingly straightforward and tailored to our timeline. Overall a really delightful retail experience! Vivien and Shelley”
