“Pasturebird makes me want to eat chicken. The taste of a butterflied pasture-raised chicken is a far cry from the junk at the supermarket. Love they keep good food alive!”
“My friend that is 85 years old say these chickens taste like the ones he was raised on ? Best chicken ever also the breast meat is not stringy and is very moist and full of great flavor”
“Soaked bird in buttermilk and salt overnight, This tasted like what I don’t know. Certainly in a class of its own.. I will never buy chickens from a grocery store again. Thank You”
“Apparently the package was delivered to somebodies address on 12 /17, according to Fed EX but not to my address at 7606. I have followed up with FEDEX and they tell me to file loss report with you if package does not show up by 12/24.If the package shows up it will already have perished. I do not want the original shipment as the stench will be unberable.
Was it insured for costs?

“I find the spatchcocked chickens could use a little more meat. If you let them live a few more weeks, would that increase the size?
I do appreciate your method of raising them. I buy them for that reason. But I will stick to buying breasts as they provide a juicer stir fry, roast etc.
I don't understand the reason why they differ in size.”
“This holiday order has been a nightmare. Ordered 12/10. Scheduled to arrive 12/14, then 12/16. Late on 12/17 I sent an email requesting an update and Meredith advised me the order would not not be delivered at all due to a "sorting delay" [I assume that was at Fedex but she didn't say]. A reorder was processed by you on 12/18 with a zero balance and a presumed delivery sometime after Jan 3, according to Meredith's email. Then on 12/22 I received an email from Fedex [with the old order number] saying the order was on route!? I had planned to share your fabulous chicken with family from out of state in hopes of converting them to real free-range chicken, but that is not going to happen. I feel badly for you and I feel badly for my guests and I feel greatly annoyed by the whole covid I-don't-want-to-get-a-vaccine nonsense that has ground this country to a halt. Repeatedly.
Merry Christmas and a hopefully happier New Year!”
“I've had the chicken two meals now, very tasty! I will be reordering! There was a hang-up (Fed Ex fault) & teh Pasturebird team reshipped a new order very quickly, The second box was a little smooshed too but teh chicken was still very frozen inside, good to go!”
“This was my first time ordering from Pasturebird.
Customer service- Fed Ex messed up on our delivery sending it back to Pasturebird. When I contacted Pasturebird, they said that they received our package and replaced it with new product and shipped it right away. It made it to our home frozen and in good time.
The thighs we had were tender and had a deeper more rich flavor than a store bought chicken. We noticed the difference right away. Thank you for raising healthy chickens for our family to enjoy! We will be buying again.”
“My first time ordering and I was very pleased with the taste & texture of the thighs & breasts. My only suggestion is that they make the packaging vacuum sealed, it leaked all over my fridge the first time I defrosted it. So be sure to place your pack in a container or zip bag while defrosting. I’ll will definitely order again.”
