About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“Very well made item, we have now purchased three cross over scratch sleeves, and they have been absolutely imperative to stopping our toddler itching at night, my only desire is the possibility for different colours such as yellow and purple but that is completely non essential.”

“These sleeves have changed our lives. My Son has had eczema since he was 5 weeks old and these sleeves are the only things that prevent him from rubbing his cheeks and making his face sore. Before these sleeves even wearing cotton mittens would still make his face very inflammed and just didn’t cut it as he rubbed his skin, we have two pairs and use them every single night the silk is amazing. Could not recommend enough, they worked overnight”

“I rarely make the time to write reviews unless I am really impressed by a product. But I am very grateful to scratchsleeves and want to share our experience in case it encourages anyone else to try these products. My 3 year old had developed a habit of pulling her hair out with one hand as she sucked her thumb with the other to fall asleep. It was a comfort thing, but when a bald patch began to form on her head, we turned to scratch sleeve products to help. We tried the cardigan and the pj top, but she was able to take them off so we tried the body suit. To great success! After a few tricky nights of protest I am so glad we persevered as the hair pulling and thumb sucking habits have resolved! The body suit is such a part of our routine now that one night we forgot to put them on and heard a shout of ‘’you forgot my mittens!!!”, so they have been embraced which is great. Thank you scratch sleeves! A final comment on the customer service which is awesome. I ordered a couple of sizes initially as I find they do run a bit large so I wanted to compare. When I decided which to exchange I contacted the email directly as the website suggests and was pleasantly surprised to find that the new item was sent out before I had even sent the return, with a prepaid envelope for me to send back the unwanted item. Really trusting of the company and I appreciated the speed and ease. Great job all round.”

“I bought them recently and they've helped with the aftereffects of itching. It's helped reduce the amount of bleeding and skin shedding, since it covers the hands and nails with a soft material, it stops my nails from digging into my skin.”

“Having stumbled across these products whilst looking for solutions to stop my 2 year old scratching spots and grazes, the scratch sleeves have come to the rescue. “Our son would not stop sucking on his fingers regardless of what we put on his fingernails or even using the arm braces that make it hard to bend your arm enough to reach your mouth. We live in the US and found this company online and these sleeves were immediately effective! It’s now been about 5 months and he loves using them with his normal pajamas because they’re so soft so we bought a second one to make washing it easier. It’s so simple to use and comfortable that there’s no rush to stop using it either.”

“Perfect for my 2 yr olds eczema, he only needs the pj tops (blue stripe) as his main problem is his hands. These tops have stopped him scratching his hands at night and he's getting a better night's sleep He's even happy to put them on as he knows they help him. Absolute life saver, so delighted with the product.”

“Scratch sleeves have been amazing for our 13mo. He has figured outs to remove all alternatives that we had previously tried but we switched to scratch sleeves a couple of months ago. He seems to find them comfortable and can still grip things with them on but his overnight itching has decreased. He no longer wakes up scratching which has been a huge help for him and us.”
