About ScratchSleeves:

ScratchSleeves are invaluable in coping with itchy, scratchy babies and children. The smooth silk mitts minimise damage, allowing your little one's skin time to heal, while the sleeve design ensures that ScratchSleeves stay firmly in place. Stopping babies, toddlers and young children scratching themselves can be a real challenge, especially as they get older and can take off traditional scratch mitts.

ScratchSleeves are effective for all sorts of scratching and irritation including eczema, chicken pox, scab-picking, post-operative healing, ear pulling and poking, overly enthusiastic thumb sucking and even hair pulling.

“Fantastic customer service, after receiving an incorrect order, they were prompt, helpful and courteous, a rarity these days. I bought them for my son who's been struggling with baby eczema on his face and they made an immediate difference and helped most of it to heal well. He has a stubborn patch on his cheek which he has managed to still rub with the seam of the mitts, we'll probably purchase the longer mitt one next to see if this helps. He wears them in the car and when he's tired as this is when he rubs his face and starts scratching. A really great product which I found whilst scrolling at 1am whilst trying to stop him scratching!!”

“These scratch sleeves have been a game changer. Our daughter plays with her hair & pulls it out at night as she self soothes while drinking her bottle. We tried gloves but she would pull them off. I then came across the scratch sleeves while searching for options on the internet. They have made such a difference. She will happily put it on, she’s comfy and her hair is now growing back. The price is great as well.”

“I recently purchased some scratch sleeves for my son and I couldn’t be happier with my online shopping experience. I accidentally ordered the wrong size and when I emailed them, Jae dealt with it swiftly. Jae amended the order and the sleeves arrived the following day, exactly as described on their website. “Absolutely amazing product. Delivery was second to none. They were recommended to me and they definitely didn’t disappoint. My daughter has however bit the silk off of the mitten part!! I will definitely order more but I’m thinking of spraying on anti-nail biting spray that’s safe for children to stop her ruining another pair!”

“I saw these online and thought they will be helpful for my daughter who suffers from eczema, I bought the dungaree and one of the tops. The top fits well and the dungaree was small as she is taller. Tried to arrange for an exchange for the next size up/ return but this options was not available on their website as it states that you have to call or email to arrange the exchange/ return. The phone was not going through and I never got a response from the email I sent. Wish it fitted as it looked well made but had to take it to charity I had no use for it. Lovely product but poor customer service. This put me of ordering again.”

We are always happy to exchange unused items returned to us in their original condition. In order for us to create an exchange for you, we need to be contacted first via phone or email. This is the quickest way for us to deal with exchanges, as we can usually have the exchanged items sent out on the same day. We also regularly check our social media channels. Our phone lines are open during our office hours which are 11.00am to 3:00pm. I have double checked and we have no unanswered voice messages. All emails are responded to on the same day if received before 3pm. “Excellent product that really helps my daughter (9) get a good night's sleep. We also needed to exchange products as my daughter decided she'd prefer the flip sleeve, I cannot fault their no quibble policy, it really is that and the speed of the exchange was exceptional.”

“These sleeves are a life saver! Anyone who has a child with eczema knows how difficult it is to manage a child scratching especially at night. The sleeves are a practical super soft barrier between nails and skin so that infections are less likely and you can actually catch a bit of sleep yourself instead of having to worry all night! My daughter's eczema is so severe she has to wear them all day as well and they've been designed so well that she can actually play without the sleeves bothering her. Thank you ScratchSleeves”

“My son has been using Scratchsleeves since he was a 1 year old baby and now he is 6 years old and we still use them. My son has severe eczema and during his flare ups the itching was uncontrollable. The product has helped my son immensely during the day and night. Before we discovered this product, we used to use socks on his hands and that irritated his eczema even more. Now my son can sleep peacefully at night without worrying about scratches and bleeding.”

“We absolutely love ScratchSleeves and would seriously struggle without them. We use them for all car journeys and at nighttime to help reduce the damage when our Son scratches and rubs. The only issue we have found, now that he is older (2 years old), is he wears through them quite quickly and therefore every few months we are having to replace them.”

“The ScratchSleeve pyjama tops we have recently bought for our 9 year old daughter have been absolutely great! She had a really bad flare up of her eczema lately and the subconscious scratching at night time was impossible to manage until we discovered the Scratchsleeve pyjamas! Very happy child and parents!!”

“I bought 1 of this and regret not buying more. Very good to prevent marks on my little one. My LO is experiencing serious eczema and he feels so itchy and keeps scratching his face, the silk mitt part is soft and didn’t really worsen the skin as cotton mitt would. I am very satisfied with the product and definitely would buy it again and recommend it to others.”

“I cannot recommend Scratchsleeves enough. My daughter has bad eczema flare ups and will scratch all night unless she has the pj top on. It's the only time she sleeps peacefully when she's wearing the Scratchsleeves top. Order was delivered next day too, fantastic”

“We have been using these for about a month now. Pros: Very speedy delivery and efficient service from Scratch Sleeves (when you're ordering an item like this, it is usually an urgent requirement!). Cotton is good quality and washes well. Flat seams on shoulders and hem and labels on the outside. Neutral colours so reduced risk of irritants from dyes. Reasonable price. Release section in the seams for hands (not too easily accessible, but useful if required). Soft silk on the hands reduces damage caused by scratching to face. Cons: Unfortunately, the mitts on the tops aren't lasting well, despite having two in rotation, washing them on a handwash setting (every other day), and air drying them. One top has holes in the ends of the silk. On the other, the mittens are noticeably more narrow and restrictive. This one has a hole in the cotton inside the silk on one sleeve, and the silk is coming away from the cuff on the other. As the mitten needs to be tugged a little to release hands, the stitching at the cuff does not seem strong enough to take this. Whilst we appreciate this must mean the scratching is quite intense, we had hoped the products might last a little longer before showing such wear, especially as, unlike with the children's items, these are less likely to be grown-out of. They perhaps need stronger construction for adults? We have also found the side and sleeve seams are not flat, which is requiring a medical-grade silk layer to be worn underneath to prevent irritation. Overall, an excellent idea in theory but a bit disappointing in practice.”

“7month old Son had very severe eczema and open sores on his cheeks that he was always scratching. Ordered a pair of cross over scratch sleeves and they have been so helpful! He still itches occasionally but I don’t have to worry about him making himself bleed as the silk hands are soft on his skin. I also really appreciate the cross over design with the Velcro as the sleeves stay on him very well. Thank you!”
