“I would have liked to give the 6x8 a 5 star rating but the only thing is that the tweeter makes a crackling noise like it was distorted and the stereo is no where close to clipping I thought that the wires were connected wrong at first and was hoping that they were but unfortunately they were connected correctly. The bass sounds excellent on the woofer cone, well built tho.”

“Well, in all honesty I believe the 12" kicker I had sounded better and louder. And it was only running 400rms @ 4Ω... In the same sealed enclosure that fits specs for the Skar sub as well... May just be a tuning issue on my amp. Which I have not yet had a chance to do because of the weather. I have an Audiopipe 10001D...1000w rms @ 1Ω, 600w rms @ 2Ω, 400w rms @ 4Ω... I feel this Skar sub should blow that Kicker out of the trunk, but as of yet I am a slight disappointed.”

“Love the product. But customer service sucks. Besides being told can't call, I've sent email after email for the past 6 months on help with technical support. I knw the covid has alot to do with it but 20 emails in 6 months and all I get it is well get to u.”

“I gave 3 stars just for the fact my 500.4 AB amp did not work. I had to take my truck twice to the shop so they could pull this amp out and replace it. For me that was just a inconvenience. All the items met expectation.”

“Purchased sdr 8 to upgrade the sub in the bass tube ran the sub at 4 ohm on a rp800 and sub lasted 2 weeks. Now it is charred not skarred”

“Products are great, will buy again. customer service /communication is difficult. I asked the same simple question a dozen times, through multiple methods, over multiple days, when i finally got a response, it wasn't an answer... so I went with a different brand for that product.”

“I got the ZVX 8 inch. It’s good, I just also bought the amp so I hope it makes it sound better. I bought a box and the 8 did not fit at all!! I had to make some cuts to make it fit. So that’s why it’s a 3 star. P.SI am accepting free 8 inch ZVX. haha my birthday was on Christmas haha!”

“I tuned the amp to 34.6 volts on the gain and the speakers pop when I turn the volume up loud on a song with low hitting bass. Could this be a problem with the subwoofers?”

“Packaging left something to be desired. Very little padding and telling the whole world exactly what is inside just screams please steal this. The instructions had zero installation/setup tips. This is the first amp I have had with a remote knob and the manual has no info on gain adjustment with the knob attached. My head unit has 5v outs and the gain adjustment is turned all the way up to reach full output. Did I receive a incorrectly manufactured unit?”

“I directly spoke to a representative and asked what amp to run with the show low mount 8 sub and the amp he recommended was not enough power for the speaker I have have to do four hours of tuning and box modification to make this sub sound like it should but sub is great and wiring kit was awesome wish the representative would have told be I needed a line output converter to hook to factory deck but it all worked out so I’m satisfied”
