“I just started my watch collection,
I custom fit strapsco watch bands,
The outcome couldn’t be better,
Strapsco has watch bands that
make High end watches look Beautiful.
Excellent quality.”
“I just ordered a new band for my Fitbit and received it. While the product it's self looks great and feels great, they didn't send anything (toolwise) to remove links from the band. So now I have a band that is WAY to big for me and nothing to assist with the removal of links. I have bought band for other watches and every time, they send a tool to help with removing links. So I'm not sure if this company is just cheap and doesn't want to spend the money to provide a tool or if they just don't care. Either way, this is more than likely the last time I buy from them. What good is a new watch band, if you can't wear it? While there is things I can do/buy to remove the links, I shouldn't have to go buy something, on top of buying the watch, when a good company should spend the money to provide one. ESPECALLY if the band uses a universal tool. Spend the extra $1 and provide me with a tool.
If the quality was not up to my standards, this would have been a 1-star review. And of course if they had sent a tool for link removal, it would have more then likely been a 5-star review.”
“Bought this because stainless steel is supposed to be hypoallergenic and I have sensitivities to certain metals, such as nickel. After one (1) week of use, not only did the color on the inside of the band start to wear off but it caused a severe allergic reaction. I contacted customer service to see what options I had because you cannot return opened/worn items (but I obviously cannot continue to use this) and the agent twice ignored my issue, despite me sending a picture of what this band did to my wrist, and instead reminded me of the return policy before suggesting I buy a non-metal band from their store.
Because StrapsCo requires that reviews be approved before being posted, my negative review *still* has not been posted a week after I submitted it. Positive reviews from other customers submitted in the meantime, however, have been approved.”
“Last year I ordered a strap I wanted for my Garmin watch. It had an interesting pattern and it's hard to find unusual patterned straps for the Garmin.
It appeared to be of reasonable quality, but the pattern started wearing off almost immediately. The strap became unusable because of how poorly it looked after just a few uses. The quickfit clasp also was made of plastic and while it did not fail, it does not appear to be very sturdy.
I really liked the pattern so I contacted the company again this year and told them about it and they wrote me back to say that the band had been updated. And in fact, there was a photo of an updated band on their website. So I ordered it.
But they sent me the exact same band.
When I asked them why I had been sent the exact same band they said that the photo on their site was a mistake. I have no idea how they could have a photo of a different band that they do not sell on their site. It seems as though it was simply photoshopped.
When I contacted the company they told me I would have to return the band to get a refund. Normally I would say that this is an acceptable practice...but when they sent me a band that is not the same as the one pictured on the website, I think it is their problem and not one where I should have to waste my time going to the post office and packaging up the item to return it to them.
I asked to speak with an owner or to be given one of the owner's email addresses, and the support staff refused. This is really unacceptable.
1) Note that the company does not have a phone number. This is always something that makes me think a company is engaged in shoddy business practices and does not have a phone number so they can avoid their upset customers.
2) Support is slow to respond and they will not give you an email contact for an owner to register a complaint - despite the fact that they send you an email after purchase telling you that they are a family owned business and how much they appreciate you.
Overall a very disappointing experience.”
“I bought a 20mm band it didn't fit my 20mm lug width on my omega Seamaster
I asked numerous times for another strap due to the fact they may ever so slightly vary in size.
They would not accommodate me. Come on it's a $34.99 strap it probably cost $8-$10 at most wholesale and they are too short sided to offer proper customer service. I have an extensive Watch collection and I belong to 3 Watch enthusiast groups. As a business owner I view Strapco as short sided and building awful customer relations!”
“I ordered black leather straps for my Fitbit Alta HR and the metal clasps are very hard to secure, they actually don't align that well with the unit at all, I had to really force it in and now I can't take them off. I was expecting a much better quality product. Will not be buying again.”
“I searched this entire past year for a new leather strap for my 5+ yr old Fossil watch. All were too short and too thick. I order this one because it was supposed to be less padded and thus thinner. Worked perfectly, ideal color, matching hardware to my watch face!!! Thank you, just ordered 3 more to keep in reserve.”
“Bought a tropic strap for my Fifty-Four homage turtle and fits perfectly. Since it's rubber, it's a little stiff but I'm sure with time, it'll soften up. 2nd strap I've gotten from here and as always, no complaints.”
