Full days and probably involved more time on the Isuzu than we expected. Some great sights along the way and well worth visiting. Very hot. Upgrade to lodges rather than tents if you can. Guide was delightful and worked hard. Small whinge - there weren't enough mugs and cutlery, had to keep washing them.

Fun tour with our very friendly tour guide. We had lots of unique hands on experience in the Aboriginal culture, apart from beautiful site scenes and surprisingly pretty swimming holes.

My friend and I recently travelled with Wayoutback Australian Safaris. We were in the NT for other business and wanted a quick, all inclusive trip to see Uluru, Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon. Nt only did Wayoutback not disappoint, the standard was higher than I had expected. Our guides were informative and helpful and Gus who did all the driving was an excellent driver. I loved the private campsite at Kings Creek Cattle Station and the Australian Outback and its unique scenery is always special. Thanks Wayoutback, Gus and Mack for a great three days.

Great tour. Guide Shannon was brilliant and knew his stuff. Food options could be improved, however all in all it was fun and would recommend anyone have a go!

Amazing tour! I did the 4 Day Galah Dreaming tour and had the best time. Our tour guide Adam was very knowledgeable about the history of the places we visited, and brought us to great spots for photos. I really liked that the tour gave us enough time to hike the parks, and starting early made it a lot easier in the weather. But the highlight was definitely swag camping under the stars! Would highly recommend these tours for anyone traveling to the Outback!

We had a blast on our adventure. Shannon was a great guide. The different sites we visited were breathtaking. Sleeping in the bush was fantastic. Breakfast could have included some proteins.

Dear Julie, Thank you for sharing your fantastic feedback, it's always a pleasure to hear about our passengers experiences on tour and I know Shannon will appreciate you taking the time to recognise his efforts. I note your comment regarding proteins at breakfast, suggestions are always valuable and I have shared this with our operations team for consideration. Thank you again Stacey Passenger Feedback

Tour was quite expensive considering we needed to cook our own meals, which was not well explained prior to booking. Guide was rude with very poor communication skills. He made several errors of judgement which he blamed on tour participants. The bus broke down twice. Small details were overlooked - for example the towel provided for showering was the size of a face cloth. I never write bad reviews, but even after several months have passed, I still would not recommend Wayoutback.

I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my 4 day, 3 night safari which included Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon and Ormiston Gorge. The tour was extremely well organized. Adam, our driver and guide, was excellent. He clearly loves the land and took delight in sharing his knowledge and stories with us. He showed concern for our safety at all times and gave us clear instructions. Tents and beds, including the swags I slept in on 2 of the 3 nights, were comfortable. Food for all meals was ample and delicious. The landscapes blew me away by their stark beauty and grandeur. I learned a lot about The Red Centre,- culture, history, geology, flora and fauna. As an older woman travelling alone, I was glad to be with compatible companions who contributed to making my experience so enjoyable and amazing. There were plenty of tents at camp sites so that although I had been advised that I might have to share a tent that was not the case. Had my own space. I have wonderful memories to treasure. Thank you.

Had a blast travelling through the NT - absolutely brilliant tour guide, and got to see lots of places across five days of travel. Would be happy to recommend Wayoutback to anyone considering a tour, and would travel with them again myself too.

It was an awesome experience that my family and I experienced and that we would experience again. All trips and excursions were well prepared and organize and so were the guides that seemed extremely prepared and trustworthy

It has lots of room for improvement especially the truck nearly lost air conditioning as the driver had to keep resetting from under the truck. If without air con the whole trip would have been a disaster for all and those at the rear would be worst hit, when they are already copping the bumpy ride. Better food and accommodation need to be considered. I dont think i will recommend to anyone except 4* budget travellers n backpackers. I know its campsite but at least give us a working light in the tent. The driver cum cook cum tour guide cum aircon mechanic must be given credit. Very aussie spirited. Can do. Find her and reward her.

This was my 1st experience on a bushcamp. Coming from Singapore, this trip had challenged me on many levels such as climate extreme between day/night; eating in the open, open toiletary models and sleeping in the sway. I was anxious wondering what I would be confronted the next day. However, I would not have exchanged it for any lesser. The experience was simply "WOW". I had such as tremendous sense of satisfaction when I completed the trip. Then, I knew I was capable of going beyond my comfort zone once I overcame my fears. The experience was so refreshing especially sleeping in the sway. I gazed into the night sky and was blown away by the millions of stars, so clear and so brilliant. All these would not have been possible if not for David, our Guide, Driver, Cook and Motivator. As a Guide, he was firm and clear in providing us the instructions. Safety was always on his mind and he was constantly checking that we drink up. As our driver, he was steady as he navigated through the roads and more importantly, he always got us a good spot to camp. As our cook, never would I thought it would be possible to cook the variety of dishes that David had done and so yummy. I was hesitant to try out the sway on the last night. However, David helped when he walked us through what to expect and this certainly helped me in my decision making to proceed to spend the night in a sway. I had the best time. David, thank you. Last but least, the itinerary was very well planned and well paced. The hikes were manageable, we experienced different sleeping arrangement ie a Public campsite; Camping inside an Alboriginal community site and sleeping in the sway. I enjoyed the two Cultural Talks too. Thumps up.

Really good tour, great guide. I'd highly recommend the Kakadu day trip. You get a great mixture of landscape and aboriginal culture.

We did the a lot of problems with this Agency and we were really unhappy about our experience. We bought a tour, exactly "the 3 day goanna dreaming red centre 4wd tour", because in internet site it seemed very well organized and “with a higher level of comfort” respect the budget solution. In the web-site they talk about “comfortable, air-conditioned 4wd truck ....with a maximum of 17 travellers “. Well, first of all the travellers were 20, but this was not the problem. The first real problem was the truck’s conditions: the air conditioning/heater didn’t work, the microphone didn’t work (it was a Guided tour!) and our seatbelts were broken ( with the Australian obligation to fasten seatbelts!). Second: we’ve paied for “an indigenous cultural exchange at Uluru included an Aborigenal Guided walk” and in Uluru we did the visit with at least 50 people: do you think we have appreciate this cultural experience? We couldn’t hear nothing! Third: we spent 865 AUD (+ Fields of Light) per person to have breakfast, lunch and dinner: lunch was a "self-made"sandwich and dinner was a plate of pasta... This is not what people think to find buying this tour. Besides, we have reported an intollerance for onions and peppers (my husband): the first night ok, but in the second dinner there were onions and peppers everywhere (except in boiled white rice.....what a dinner!) Finally, in the morning of third day, the truck it has never started again! Really, we are not surprise of this considering the truck condition.... At first time, the Guide tried to recharge battery but he was not able. So, someone said to try to push the truck and some travellers including children started pushing with no results. Final act: it came a tractor and someone thinked to make the tractor push directly the truck, before in front and after behind, breaking it! We think it was a dangerous situation, managed in a very bad way. The worse experience in Australia!
