“I hate even giving them 1 star....absolutely rubbish! Impossible to contact, lie through there teeth, and two weeks later still waiting on my parcel. Bizarrely, even my supplier cannot call the account manager to sort the issue - they have to email! Keep getting 'carded' even though no card, and never turned up as I've always been in, not to mention there is instructions to leave delivery elsewhere. I won't use the company again if they continue to use XDP! So the wait continues.........”
“I consider that XDP are owned or affiliated to Aldi.... as nearly every item you order online “ goes missing” and bizarrely Aldi seem ok with this. If its not with you in 5 days Aldi tell you it is considered a “lost item”... and again bizarrely Aldi ask you if you would like them to “chase” the missing item... which takes two days and NEVER finds” the item.
Surely they would want to stop their courier stealing from them, themselves???
I have discovered that “lost” means that Aldi have taken more orders for their hallowed “specials” than they know if they can deliver on.... and if you are after cut off number... your item becomes “lost” to hide this scam.
I say scam as you cannot get your money back for up to 21 days ( on top of say the 3 weeks they have already had it).
The next part of the scam is that they then refund you your money minus the delivery charge you have also paid. When you call to ask for delivery to be paid back they say....
It must have been a mistake..... every single time.
How much do Aldi make out of this scam in a year.
My opinion is... do not use Aldi or XDP unless you are comfortable being taken in by a very very large scale scam.
I currently “await” ALDI corporate responsibility/legal department getting back to me.

“I bought an e-bike from geekbuying.com ( one horrible company), after a long period they shipped and this great xdp kept it at the depot a good few days before moving to destination. there is no way you can contact them. one fine morning tracking showed scheduled for delivery 2 hours slot but no map moving at all. The slot period went but no show and the worst is tracking stays the same without an update. Stayed all day nothing happened, I have no idea when I will get it.
Now 4 days from the last update and almost 10 days still waiting. This is UK mainland delivery, other company usually deliveries in just about 3 days. I tried to call xdp but only waiting 10 minutes could not get to talk with anyone.”
“Rude, unhelpful delivery men who kicked and threw my boxed chair along my drive because I wouldn’t let them just leave it at front door. Box was badly damaged and upon inspection the adjustable feet on bottom of chair were damaged”

Ordered a futon sofa from Wayfair which was meant to be delivered last night but I've received nothing. No tracking info, no call, no notification alerting me. Stayed up until midnight. Looking through the other reviews, I am raging, stories of lost items and such like. Bunch of criminals.”

Delivered only part of order. Says on the app that the order was split at the warehouse but that 'all barcodes delivered'. The wording in the app isn't clear but we think it means that all of it should have been delivered yesterday. Tried to phone immediately after driver had left but couldn't see any way to contact the driver directly so spent 30mins on hold being told I was 1st in the queue, emailed and received an automated response, downloaded the app and tried to use the live chat which was just does not work at all. If I click 'live chat' it goes straight back to the home page.”
“They have had our parcel for 16 days and have lied about attempted delivery. Emailed a "copy" of the card left at our house, when we asked what time and day they left the card so we could check the CCTV, they would not answer. My wife works from home, so we never miss deliveries.
They keep saying on the tracking that the delivery is scheduled, then never arrive. Almost as bad a DX Delivery!
Don't use them, use a reputable courier like DPD, Parcel Force, Yodel or Hermes.”
“Would not even leave 1 star . Still waiting on order can’t contact anyone to find out where it is and the company I ordered from are the same. They charge 7p a minute pulse your provider charge to be told they can’t help, go to your supplier. Shocking service they should be shut down . If they company you order from use them.......don’t order from them !!!”
“Delivery happened on time between 7.58 p.m and 9.58 p.m. Didn’t get much notice before but didn’t matter as it was evening and I was at home already. Parcel very easily trackable on site ( haven’t tried the app- didn’t need too). Quick service only waited 3 days from the moment I placed the order till it arrived. Very helpful driver dragged a massive bulky box of total weight of 38kg right in front of my door. Was a bit concerned as ordered spin bike if flywheel will not get damaged but all was in perfect condition when put up together.All in all very good service”
