Waste of time. Never delivered what was primised. Yell got me 9 clicks in 1 year for £2,000

Signed up with yell at £80’a month, Amanda sounds very positive on the phone, but once I’d signed up was absolutely no help at all, never received any calls and when I complained to Amanda she up’d my contract to £105 a month, and started a brand new 12 month contract, it was only when I’d got the recordings of our telephone conversations that clearing heard me saying I’m not paying any more money that l was able to get out of my contract, at a loss of £800, they are a scam company, do NOT sign up with yell.

If I can give 0 stars I would. During sales call I felt extremely pressured and it was a very long and boring pitch. They sold me a website along with management, the website was made totally wrong and after two months of being constantly let down by all their claims, I decided to terminate the agreement. They say you can't buy they are liars and their contracts mean nothing. They don't actually sell any service or any products. It's just one big money making hoax.

Cheats and misleading sales..tied into a contract even thou the price is wrong. You won't release the phone records to me. Never ever go with Yell.

I have been with yell for a few years and it has been helpful to receive clients but waste a lot of times giving you numbers and stats and fill your head with words and always suggest more expensive package and telling you encourage you to spend more money with them . They had talked me into depending something I didn't really want and was stuck and they would do their best to talk me out of changing it.very exhausting indeed.

Absolutely terrible service for a lot of money no return on what was spent these people are liars and cheaters do not trust them or listen to any brilliant offers which will leave you with empty pockets YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Took out the complete package, web site, reputation manager, guaranteed ranking position no3 for plumbers in my area. 52 calls in 6 months.....2 calls a week not atcual jobs.... 14 email inquiries.... again not job and most were leads you would not want...please don't waste your money on Yell....promise the earth and there own analytical trackers proves there system is floored. Phoned time and time again.... nothing they can do just pay your bill.... Rip off company for the small local business man...

Bombarded with calls after free listing. Slick sales pitch amd passed to so called digital marketing pro.. Urrrmmm again pitch amd bored to death. She made me download the app. Then she made me create an account. I was begging to get off the phone. Before you know it they send me a agreement which is actually a loan agreement. Very naughty. Disgusting. Becareful you can't cancel as business to business. Clever. I never signed but how dare they. They made a £38 million pound profit last year. By being vampires amd sucking the blood and scamming small businesses . Do your research. I hate Yell. An now removing my listing.. So many creepy voicemails from them to push me sign this disgrace of a 12 month locked in rolling by default into year 2... Trading standards seriously

What didn’t go wrong with Yell, if I could leave a -5 star I would, absolutely crazy how this company can do the things they are doing in this day and age, I could write paragraphs on what they have done and how much money they have robbed from me, I never write bad reviews on anything just cause I don’t really care, only reason I am writing this is to make sure no one gives them business at all, they are daylight robbery! Literally! This is no exaggeration at all... Every person who works for them are rude and try to bully you, it’s crazy, I’m actually shocked at how a big company like this are getting away with robbing people left right and centre, they sell you the world

I am a small business and have spend over £30,000 on a website which has never been completed. This was started 3 years ago. I have had to close my account as they wanted over £1000 per month advertising. They just stopped developing the site after the payment was made and kept moving me between people. I have nothing to show for my hard earned money. I have had a high level complaint in for almost 2 years which just gets passed around. Worst company I have ever worked with. Total White Collar Crime!!!

WARNING TO ALL BUSINESS OWNERS: Do not use Yell.com for advertising. After been shut down because of coronavirus and having zero income, i stopped my direct debit and contacted them to explain my circumstances, after a couple of calls and telling them i would not be reinstating the direct debit until i received some income they said they would give me a payment holiday but instead sent my account to a debt collection agency, after taking to the agency who agreed they went the wrong way about it i am letting everyone know: YELL.COM are a money grabbing company who don't care about their customers circumstances especially through this unprecedented time. Im sorry but because of this i will be letting anyone know who will listen about this terrible company.

OVER 30 years AS A loyal CUSTOMER… OVER 30 years AS A loyal CUSTOMER DISGUSTING ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR FROM…yell/ Hibu ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR FROM THIS COMPANY BY THE WAY THIS WAS FEW WEEKS AFTER RETURNING DUE TO COVID 19 After receiving a DEPT RECOVERY LETTER STATING I HAD TO PAY OVER £363 Because I had not paid my invoices due to COVID I was quite SHOCKED TO SAY THE LEAST AND IN THE MEAN TIME THEY HAD CLOSED ALL MY WEBSITE AND EMAILS IS I DID EVERYTHING THROUGH THEM NO EXPLICATION OR EMAIL OR EVEN A LETTER SO MUCH SO I COULDN'T GET ANY EMAILS OR CUSTOMERS LOOKING AT MY WEBSITE AND ITS BEEN WEEKS NOW CAN YOU IMAGINE MY DISTRESS AT SUCH A DIFFICULT TIME IT WAS A NIGHTMARE “at such a time when we are supposed to be in this together. Cancelled subscription and still looking for money after cancellation date. Asked for documentation to prove additional money due. No info sent and money they claim is owed has now been put in hands of debt collectors. A worry we could do without given all the issues caused by COVID
