The Maileg wooden closet arrived and both of the doors were broken. I emailed the company to request a return and I returned the item. About 4-5 days went by and I had not received an email saying they had received the item so I had to message them to ask if they had received it and if I had been issued a refund only to be told they had recieved it and the refund can take up to 14 days, to be issued. I complained about the lengthy refund process and they then managed to issue the refund the following day. I must say I found the returns process long winded and the lack of communication frustrating. They didn't have a replacement so I had to buy the item elsewhere. I had bought this for my Grand daughter's birthday.

Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologise again for the inconvenience caused by the broken doors upon receiving the closet. We understand how disappointing it must have been for you and your granddaughter. We are also sorry for any frustration caused because you feel there was a lack of communication during the return process. We advise that we aim to reply to all queries within 2 working days, and we were able to get back to you within a day at most regarding most of your queries. We do completely appreciate that it can be frustrating when it isn't possible for a company to process a return as soon as it is delivered, but I was very forward and open about the reasons why this isn't currently a service that is possible for us to provide, and your return was processed within the few days that I had advised it would be, so I'm very sorry again that it wasn't possible for this to be done sooner.

Hi Amanda, We're very sorry that you feel that the non-delivery of your order deserves a 1* review for the services received by Yes Bebe. As explained in my email, this is something that is completely out of our control as Royal Mail is a 3rd party service. We will always accurately fill in customs forms, but we have zero control over what is accepted and rejected. We are investigating to find out if there are any changes that we can make to allow us to ship these products to Ireland, but it is ultimately down to the couriers as to whether we can or not, and there was no way for us to know that your order would be rejected. I can see that our warehouse team was able to arrange the dispatch of your order very quickly, and my email replies have been quick too, so I am so sorry if any of this has contributed to the 1* rating, but we would be very grateful if you could let us know how we can improve these services, or if you would consider revising your review if it is based on the services received by Royal Mail on this occasion. I bought multiple things from yes bebe. I paid shipping for the items but to my surprise when I went to the post office to retrieve the package they told me I needed to pay for the shipping there as well. This is totally unacceptable. The items are good but I am not happy with the website.

Overseas orders may be subject to local taxes and customs which we are clear about in our T&Cs, Dispatch & Delivery information and our FAQ, so unfortunately if these are the charges you have been subjected to, it's a requirement by law and we aren't responsible for the charges being issued. If you have been charged additional delivery costs by Royal Mail to receive your parcel other than taxes and customs fees, this isn't to be expected and we would need you to reach out to us with more information so we can speak to Royal Mail on your behalf so we can help you. Unfortunately can only aware of such information and help to resolve issues when our customers reach out to our Customer Care Team, but we will always do everything we can to help. Poor customer service. Originally ordered from YES BEBE- the order arrived damaged. I would suggest all to stay away from this company. I work in school and know this product to be practical however wouldn't go near this company again!

Hi Shahi, We are very disappointed to see your experience with us warranted a 1* rating and a misinformative review. I have tried my best to help you since the second we received your email, and I'm more than happy to be transparent about this experience as you wish to make it public. You reported that Royal Mail caused the damage after they delivered it through a window, not Yes Bebe, but you refused to share any evidence of the damage so that we could help. I understand that this is an inconvenience when your wife has already thrown it in the bin shortly after the delivery without taking photographs, and the image you provided us a few days later wasn't appropriate for us to be able to help you as it didn't show the product or the packaging. We have the delivery image from Royal Mail, but this showed no indication of damage, and I hope that you can understand why we will ask for proof of any problems from all customers who reach out to us. We have tried to work with you to resolve this matter, and I'm very sorry that you don't wish to do this. Best wishes Katie

As you are not located in the UK, delivery times can be up to 7-14 days, so you haven't received your order yet as it is still in transit due to being dispatched on the 18th of August.
