“Very happy first time, second time not so much! I insured my Jaguar S-type 3.0, fully comprehensive for £530.07, just bought another identical model and have been charged £816.02... For what?? Only one of these cars will be driven on the road at any given time, but with no-one to speak to how do you explain/negotiate terms? Not happy, making other arrangement ASAP!!”
“Not much to say really, how can you review a company when you don’t have contact. I’ve stayed with them this year (3rd year) because it’s good cover and cheapest I could get. Time will tell how good they are if I ever need to claim.”
“Great first price but when I clicked to buy it was 40% higher. Reason I gave 3 stars was that it was still cheaper than every other quote, but very annoying otherwise and when you try to buy you are bombed with repetitive add ons which were unclear and difficult to remove or bypass.”
“Easy to complete application and was cheaper than the original quote.I only hope I don't have the same trouble as others when it comes to cancelling autorenew”
“I'm actually unhappy with regard to my car insurance renewal.
On the renewal email reminder you sent, you said that my policy would automatically renew if I didn't contact you. I decided to stay with Yoga, so thought the policy would therefore just automatically renew on the given date. However, this didn't happen, despite the "auto renew" button on my portal being ticked. I received an email from you saying I wasn't covered, so had to rectify this straightaway. If you say the policy will be automatically renewed, then this should happen.”
“I would like to say a telephone number would be helpful so i could talk directly to someone instead of doing things on line in which somethings you can't change like paying the lump sum instead of monthly payment when i first started”
“Original policy was a good price and offered cover I wanted. Renewal quote was very expensive although insuance has increased massively in cost across the board so not just Yoga guilty of this. However, the practice of auto renew as a default is unacceptable in my opinion. The default should be not to auto renew with the offer to select it if required.”
“Gosh I'm not sure they made me happy bought insurance online...yoga took the deposit amount twice causing several panic phone calls only to find Yoga can't be contacted by phone, .....eventually found a live chat (wasn't clearly mapped to find online) and got the issue sorted out.
Quite simply, Yoga you need a phone system... relying on messaging systems won't solve urgent issues.”
“Nightmare, all I wanted to do was revise my credit card to enable Yoga to renew my policy but in the end I just paid it with my new card. I went round and round in circles.

“I totally agree with other comments about Yoga NOT having a telephone line to discuss their insurance. It's absolutely ridiculous to pay employees to type messages back & forth on live chat for an hour, when a conversation could take 6 mins - 10 mins. The texting is long and drawn out process & is only available between 9am to 2pm when most people are at work & can't communicate with the business. Don't bother looking for a telephone number as there isn't one. I still don't know who or how to contact the breakdown service I opted to pay for.
Then there is the confirmation email which is full of grammar errors like you would expect in a scam emails.
I personally was on my phone to one employee for in excess of an hour texting on their live chat, asking normal questions about a policy they had & by the end even I had had enough, going back and forth with texts as the business categorically will not speak to you if you give them your contact number.
I have yet to see how they perform as a broker and the insurance company or underwriter in the event that I have to use them. I should have done my own due diligence reading other people's experiences when they required or needed to make a claim, as it does not read well.
If you're reading this, it's buyer beware, do your research & think to yourself 'this may be the cheapest quote, but if I happen to need to make a claim and the stress of an accident or breakdown, am I going to be faced with more stress, & was saving a few £pounds now worth it compared to other more reputable businesses who have a wealth of great reviews in time of need'?
Hopefully I won't need to claim but if I do, be sure I'll write a factual account of how professional the claim or breakdown was handled. This will provide future buyers of Yoga's handling of real life scenarios.

“Easy to renew but you need to work on payment method. I tried to change card for a one off payment and it was a nightmare. Was taken to a rather complicated paypal page when all I wanted to do was make a payment with another card. Tried phoning the number I had but says it is not in use. chat was equally useless . Gave up and paid with old card. this is a simple thing on most sites.”
“Great Price last year but big increase this year found much cheaper with same cover, went online as no telephone to take off auto renew and it didn't work so charged £50 for cancellation on same day policy started when saw I had been charged, which is a bit steep.”
