“I was told my insurance would automatically renew when I agreed to my new policy, however this did not happen and came as a surprise to receive an email on the morning of renewal to learn I was then uninsured and the renewal hadn’t happened! Stressful to put right quickly so I could drive my car to work! Not good service.
Online portal is also not user friendly”
“I have been trying to access the portal for two days to inform you I have sold my car therefore I do not want my policy renewing and want it to /cancel. I have tried umpteen times to request registration but without success. I have spoken to the chat bot which is useless”

On the renewal email reminder you sent, you said that my policy would automatically renew if I didn't contact you. I decided to stay with Yoga, so thought the policy would therefore just automatically renew on the given date. However, this didn't happen, despite the "auto renew" button on my portal being ticked. I received an email from you saying I wasn't covered, so had to rectify this straightaway. If you say the policy will be automatically renewed, then this should happen.”
“My car insurance has automatically reviewed. The number plate is incorrect, my customer portal will not accept the change and the online bot is useless. I have recently set my boss's car up with insurance from you and he has another 7 cars I wish to add, so pull y9ur finger out and help or I go elsewhere! You either want the business or not!”
“I have tried on umpteen occasions to contact yoga to inform them that I was unable to access my portal so that I could view my new car renewal, I wasn’t going to renew until I knew how much the premium had increased, which was highly likely in this day and age. I’ve had absolutely no emails enabling me to set up a new password. I had a look at my policy information and it said that they don’t automatically renew unless they are contacted, so then how come I received an email thanking me for renewing my policy…????
I went to the bother of sending them a letter by pigeon post detailing my frustrations of not being able to access the portal and again, no response. I’ve had no alternative but to cancel my direct debit with them. I will NEVER EVER again take out any online policy without being able to interact with an actual human….Jenny in Cambridge”

“Original policy was a good price and offered cover I wanted. Renewal quote was very expensive although insuance has increased massively in cost across the board so not just Yoga guilty of this. However, the practice of auto renew as a default is unacceptable in my opinion. The default should be not to auto renew with the offer to select it if required.”
“IT problems. Despite many many tries couldn’t log on or change password and even the Chat took me in ever increasing circles. Absolute frustrating waste of time. Sadly, I had to move to another company after trying and failing over several days.”
“Not very happy really. They make it sound good but if you actually need something, don't hold your breath because it's not happening. On break down, even though have the cover, told to find my own garage to get it repaired and then call. But it was a Sunday and I was on the side of the motorway. Told recovery would be no more than 10 miles and the onward journey option was also the same distance and £3 per mile after that. As I was over 100 miles from home and no garage within 10 miles, and I had family in the car they left us high and dry. The best I got was a txt message, oh!! and the roadside assist doesn't exist as they don't have any mechanics! Only up to 10 mile recovery! I feel I've been conned on false advertising.”
