Beautiful hotel. Best breakfast ever. Prince Bishops is a great course, very interesting with some long par 4s. Rib restaurant was a bit disappointing. If going again I'd stick with the carvery which looked much more than just a carvery and had a better atmosphere. Gray spa as well. Loads of different facilities. Without exception all the staff were excellent.

this is our second booking with your golf travel, excellent first time so we have come back again, Patrick has delt with my booking on both occasions and i have found him very helpfull and polite great company to book with

I played at macdonald hill valley on 26 and 27/09/15 . The courses were great , but a round of golf should never take 5 hours to complete . On each and every tee we waited between 5 and 10 minutes before we could tee off . The service in the dining room was shocking and the menu left a lot to be desired . The staff were very helpful , but because of the slow play I would never go back and and would not recommend it to my friends . Stop everbooking the courses . You spoil what should be a well deserved break that we are paying good money for !

Made an initial inquiry for a weekend away in Essex at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa. When I went back to accept with modifications by not having dinner one evening I was mislead by Glen who told me that the Bed and Breakfast rate was more expensive so it would be best to have the dinner included. When we made further inquiries we were told that in fact Bed and Breakfast was £10 cheaper per person. I felt I had been misled and have received no apologies from the company which we found could not care once they had the money. I hope you read this Darren.

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 day trip to Celtic Manor booked through YGT. Everything went very smoothly with thanks to Glenn and team for getting everything spot on tee times etc. exactly what I wanted. Best overall venue in 9 years . Cheers

I was disappointed with the booking experience I received from Your Golf Travel. Having used the company a number of times before this was by far the worst experience I have had. Having made an initial enquiry I then had a telephone conversation with Patrick McCaghy who provided a quote for a hotel and golf courses. Then having agreed this, we booked our flights which were escalating in price. However, then Patrick called me back a few days later telling me the hotel was unavailable (why was I given a quote and given the impression that this was available?). I explained that flights had been booked and asked Patrick to look at other hotels but had to continuously chase for a resolution for over a week before we were eventually booked in somewhere (a hotel not up to the same standard as our initial choice). As i'm sure you can appreciate created a lot of uncertainty for myself around the whole holiday and costs that had already been committed to for flights, which was not acceptable. I should also note that I only got a final resolution by contacting Nick Bishop who I have dealt with before and have had very good service from. Once Nick was in the loop, the situation was resolved within the day. Maybe coincidence but maybe evidence of much better customer service.

We have booked a golf break thru another company in France. We thought we would add on a short break at the beginning and one at the end using YGT. On 12th I booked it and on 14th received acknowledgement "not confirmed". Despite several chases all I received were assurances that it had been booked verbally, but no written confirmation had been received. I am now about to depart for the coast and still have no vouchers or anything. The last gentleman said he would contact the sales agent as soon as he arrived this morning to chase it. This is probably the same sales agent who was chasing it yesterday. We are now doubting whether, we have any bookings at all. The lack of any reassuring follow ups means we are left wondering. Is it normal for a hotel to take 4 days to follow up a verbal acceptance in writing? More empathy with the customer and better communication is in order.

Cant thank Glenn & the team enough at YGT, very helpful, got us exactly what we were looking for, venue, tee times, dates & even an early bird incentive. Ive been booking these annual society trips for the last 20 years or so, usually leaving it until the last minute but now YGT take care of everything & on top that are very competitive Thank you your doing a great job Dave M. Just returned from our 11th Le Manoir trip and have already booked for 2016. Hotel comfortable and friendly and ideally situated for golf. Looking forward to seeing the new clubhouse next year - should be great. Dramatic alterations to the La Mer course since last 2014 and course in great condition despite this work. Only criticism that can be made is the slowness of play on the courses (Hardelot Pins, La Mer and La Foret) and in particular La Foret where non golfers are aloud to play and have no idea of etiquette. Handicap certificates should be asked for!! Apart from that small moan, roll on next September!!

Your Golf Travel made the whole experience so so easy, I made many phone call emails with changes to my booking people dropping out people wanting single rooms, but Your Golf Travel took all in their stride no problem was to big or small and made it easy. will be sure using your service again thanks very much.
