I bought this item to supply 230VAC power to a submersible pump during power outages. It will also fulfil other uses, i.e. 12VDC and USB. I am very happy with the quality, ease of use, how quiet it is and the price. I have purchased a special outlet plug to get around the problem of the 230V being one above the other and clashing if you are using both outlets (it being originally designed for continental outlets). I would recommend this item for others to purchase, but ensure that it meets your electrical power requirements.
