Three weeks and almost 300 kilometres since buying the Pedal Falcon 3 and loving the bike. I've started to accessorise it for some cycle touring. Based on current usage the battery would last in excess of 100 km on mixed terrain and switching assistance levels between 0,1 & 2 as required. I have only tried levels 3 to 5 out of curiosity so far as generally I haven't needed them. The only thing to be aware of is battery charging time - it is better to recharge before the battery gets low as a full recharge can take eight hours or more. It has only a 2 amp charger, which means slower charging time but extends the overall life of your battery before needing a replacement. At just on 70 years old I'm far from cycling fit, but the Falcon 3 is definitely helping me get back to cycling as I use pedal assist as little as possible.
