The hotel was quieter than we had expected but everything about the hotel Met or exceeded our expectations. Our room was large and with a patio door to our own garden was excellent for our dog. The food was superb, whether it was the breakfast of the excellent dinners. It was a great base to explore the nearby towns of Salcombe, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes all of which were very pleasant.
