Alright, this is not a usual review! I've never been to the great Aussie land though I've enjoyed life with a wonderful Queensland Heeler! I'm in the states, where these mirrors were shipped to. Do I own a Holden? Nope. Isuzu? Nope. Well, not directly.... Here, we have US market GMT355, a very close sibling of the Rodeo. Some things are the same, some are not. Being left hand drive is one of them. These mirrors? Yep, they'll fit right on a 2004-2012 Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon. Direct fit. No modifications to the truck. Wire harness for electric mirrors are plug and play. The only thing you need to do? Disassemble the now drivers side mirror (that is passenger for RHD) and carefully grind in a new notch for the mirror to fold out one more step outward into the detent frame. Why? Well, these are preset for right hand drive (RHD), so when installed on a LHD vehicle, the now drivers side mirror glass does not adjust outward enough to be safely used. Allowing for one more notch unfolding allows for much better adjustment. No one in the states makes or really sells tow mirrors for the GMT355 chassis, yet mine and many others can still tow something large enough to need them. Yeah, especially the V8 model. I like these mirrors. They are small and compact when slid in to the cab. They look natural, not oversized. When slid completely out, they are insane. Bad? No. The more adjustment the better. Photos attached of the truck with mirrors installed and in service. Yes, that is also not a regular Chevrolet grille, as like with these mirrors, I find alternate parts that direct fit and make things into a mix, paying homage to each models relatives.
Outback Equipment processed my order and shipped these out international shipping smoothly and quickly. If I lived nearby to venture the wilderness there rather than here, I'd very well buy from them more often. Then again, I'd probably be caught petting dingoes.....
