Appletree Cottage is exactly like the website photos. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom is a dream and the kitchen was very well equipped. Apart from the large enclosed garden, there are so many amazing walks right on your doorstep for you and your four legged friend to enjoy. There is a lovely village pub within walking distance which like most of the island is dog friendly. Unfortunately for us at the time of our visit they weren't serving food due to COVID restrictions but this didn't spoil our holiday. The only thing to note is the stairs are very steep so if you are a little unsteady on your feet they may be a challenge.
