As a 3X marathoner currently training for my 4th, I am no stranger to using energy gels, jelly beans, gummies/jellies - I think I’ve used them all. While I considered them a necessary evil, I admit that I could not always predict how my stomach would react. No one likes the outhouse on race day so I was always trying to find that fuel that would give me energy but not affect my stomach. I saw an ad pop up about Sun River Honey gels so I thought I’d give it a try. I took them out on my next long run and was surprised by their pleasant taste. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I love all of the flavours. And my stomach? No issues whatsoever. I am so happy I’ve found my new fuel. See you soon Chicago Marathon 2024.
