I was looking for a replacement to the original LG table top stand that was lost. This is ideal. The 27 inch flat screen set mounts at the right height and underneath there is just enough room for my spare set top DVR. The glass footplate is good quality and the supporting column and TV mount plate are of sturdy construction. The only gripe was the building of the column onto the glass base which uses two very long bolts. These have to be blindly inserted through the base so they meet the two to holes in the upper column cover. Make sure that you insert the bolts through the two large washers before threading them through the base ( or you will have to take it apart again). Once put together the range of bolts and fitments is extensive, but I question being able to mount anything bigger than a 32 inch. Overall, very pleased with the smart result.
