I’m glad I went with this awning option and this company. I think the value was excellent and the product quality very, very good. We live in upstate NY and have seen that awning take all kinds of weather like a trooper. The brackets are solid steel (I believe), with heavy duty carriage bolts. I did employ a 2x10” ledger board to mount it on and 1x3” strip of oak to help w the installation integrity.
Most importantly, it’s working! It’s keeping rain, sun, snow, and sleet off my window! Kudos to y’all for making a sound product.
