I'm not a big fan ordering online for high price items because I want to see, touch and be able to sit on items but seeing the Vail counter height chairs online took our breath away. I was intrigued but asked myself "am I really going to pay this much for these bar stools?" Well, after getting several swatch samples from Denver Modern, my husband and I bit the bullet and ordered the stools. The designers were very helpful with providing answers to my questions and offering an incentive to make the sale! We purchased four black leather Vail chairs and let me tell you that the quality of the leather is luxurious and top of the line. The frame of the chairs are sturdy and comfortable. The backs are not as high as I wanted but in reality no one really leans back while sitting, you are either upright or leaning forward. We chose the darker wood and we are pleased with our decision. The chairs are worth every dollar spent. Hoping they last a life time!
