We are still working our way through the Self Esteem Kit and to date have completed our circle of influence sheets, collaborative poem and values circles. We have taken our time working through the activities so we can deeply understand what it means to have values passed down through our whakapapa. This kit has required a slower pace of teaching and learning alongside careful explanation. I am working with a Year 5 and 6 class and our goal is to help build resilience in ourselves and peers. We look forward to completing the second part of this kit in Term 4.
