Born and raised in Hawaii, early morning temperatures in the 30’s and 40’s have me feeling frigid! I love to golf though, and usually bundle up each winter and struggle to find a workable swing with all those layers on. I treated myself to an Ororo golf vest this season and it’s a game changer!! The battery placement is thoughtfully out of the way, and the vest heats up quickly. I also love that I can keep my hands in the pockets for warmth instead of using single-use heat packets. I purchased this vest and the Turnberry golf jacket to compare and ultimately kept the vest because of the battery pocket placement and smoother zipper (YKK zippers on this one). Both measured 22.5” from the shoulder in XS which is a tad long for my 5’0” frame, but fortunately I haven’t experienced any interference in my golf swing or putting stroke due to the snug fit. I debated removing a star because I notice the filling pilling/poking out of the vest lining after each wear. Hopefully it doesn’t affect the warmth of the vest in the long run. I have played 2 or 3 rounds with it so far and the battery has lasted for as long as I needed it to. If you are sensitive to sounds, the fabric does have a tech snow/ski pant texture and sound to it.
