I have a chemex glass pour over coffee carafe that my mother used when I was young 50 years ago. It has always been my favorite coffee and always gets compliments from guests. The problem is making it just right when you are also entertaining. I have long looked for a machine that could truly match that coffee automatically, and I have found it. This machine was well worth the wait. It is just gorgeous in my kitchen. We were given choices that allowed us to practically make it look built in. In addition to being beautiful it is also constructed with superior materials that feel and weigh like smooth stone. The coffee is excellent, particularly when made with a chemex filter. There are zero residues or granules anywhere, and the flavor is never bitter, but smooth and true to the bean.
