For eight years, I used to work in a job where I would stand for at least 7.5 hours a day and my legs would be sore by the end of the day despite comfortable shoes and a cushioning mat. Two years ago, I changed careers and now work from home, but my body would ache at the end of the day from sitting 7.5 hours a day despite getting up to stretch at hourly intervals. I came across UpDown Desk from https://www.experteasy.com.au/blog/best-standing-desk-australia/ and went for the pheasantwood desktop. Ever since upgrading to this desk, I have worked that neither getting up to stretch or sitting down to rest temporarily is the best solution for me personally. Instead, I switch between sitting or standing for an hour or two at a time once I no longer feel comfortable either sitting or standing. I now finish work feeling much less fatigued or sore. I paid extra for wheels for the flexibility of easily moving the desk around should the need every arise and this adds a bit of height to the desk as well. The desk smoothly transitions between the two heights I have set (68 and 100). My only suggestion to make the desk better would be being able to change the height of the desk just by pressing a button once instead of holding it down until it has reached the height.
