It's made with a water-repellent shell, allows me to use my phone's touchscreen with them on. The flexible heating coils are located on the back of hands & evenly distributes heat in three different modes: Low, Medium and High (7 hours on Low, to 3 hours on High). After charging the battery and connecting it, simply long-press the Ororo button & they warm you up in a few seconds. Surprisingly, the batteries are not that large and you don't feel them inside the wrist area of the gloves. As an added feature, there's an adjustable wrist buckle and built in carbiner to attach gloves to each other. These can be machine washed without the battery, of course.
