I recently wrote the review on this part concerning the failed crimps that caused the bezel to separate from the barrel. Dennis Carpenter called me and went over the problem. They are sending out a new one that they tested using the factory parts, just as we are using, and this one didn't fail. They are going to look over the parts they have in stock and check for faulty crimps and compare to factory original examples to see what the issue is. Perhaps the one I originally received was just a factory defect. It happens. We are very impressed that Dennis Carpenter went above and beyond to rectify the problem, not only with us, but with the part as well. Outstanding.
