After a tornado ripped through the area, we had a lot of cleaning up to do. This made easy work of condensing the debris. Once we were done, we had a single large pile of wood chips and wood to split. I am very pleased with the sturdy construction. My 22hp yanmar tractor spun it just fine, only bogging down on the largest pieces. It helped to keep the chainsaw handy to shorten the longer, large diameter pieces or to cut out twisting branches. Twisting branches and forked branches tended to get hung in the feeder chute. The only downside was that the chipper came on a pallet with a metal cage and had come dislodged from the shipping. It is pretty scratched up from mediocre packing, but I didn't really buy it to be a show piece.
