“I had not heard of this service before so was unsure what to expect.On the day, the handyman turned upon promptly, was very friendly and professional and finished the job within the estimated time. I was very impressed with the service overall, the fact that they could turn up next day and the pricing. I would definatley use this service again.”

“I have used 0800handyman 3 or 4 times now. Always reliable, the guys they have sent run through my list of odd jobs quickly and efficiently and do a good job too! Excellent service, especially for little things that a regular builder would never turn up to do. (Hanging pictures, etc)”

“As a repeat customer of many years, I was was dismayed that I should be left waiting for the handyman for around close to two hours, especially as I had made a train journey from Sussex just for the handyman to work in a London flat. After waiting ages, I called their office. I then got a call back saying the handyman had to go to hospital for his partner. I asked the wonderful Adriene, who was most apologetic, to ask the owner of the firm to contact me. Well, after two chasing telephone call from Adriene to myself - I'm still waiting for the call from the owner. The incident was over two months ago, so I shan't hold me breath. Total time wasted was 5 hours. That at £20 call out plus £40 per hour plus train ticket, equates to £245. My time is valued higher than the above, however I've used 0800 Handyman's charges. So 0800 Handyman, are you going to reimburse my losses? Is the owner going to call? I'm actually surprised you've asked me to rate you!”

“0800 Handyman provides an efficient service - often providing a Handyman at relatively short notice. Generally the service is good, although on a few occasions we have had Handymen to site to change light bulbs (that we have provided) and they have broken a large quantity, without offering to replace or reimburse. As a result, I am reluctant to book someone to return to site for this purpose.”

“Our Handyman Gary is very good but sadly the office staff are letting the service down. Gary attends our office every two weeks on a Friday morning unless it is a bank holiday or Gary is away. I am afraid over the last 6 months this has not always been happening and Gary will sometimes turn up when we are not expecting him as he has been booked in for the wrong date. Gary quite often asks the office to check with us but this never happens. We thought things had improved but two weeks ago Gary turned up on the wrong date again. I look forward to your reply. “Having used you previous a number of years ago and having remembered how good you were, unfortunately on this occasions we were very disappointed. There was a problem with the office WC cistern not flushing, which it took your chap some time to find ~ (apparently the plastic forming the suction for the water to be pulled through?), and then some time to fix, with ominous hammering sounds coming from the WC. The WC compartment was left in soiled condition with bits of cement on the floor and water appear to have dripped from the pipe coming from the cistern in the pan, which had not been wiped up and the basin was quite dirty. The other 'problem' was a curtain rail in one of the flats which needed to be re-fixed and he just said it was broken and needed a new one. The part that went into the wall was loose, and has since been re-fixed by others, as it did not need a new rail at all.”

“From reporting to their customer help desk our problem, to the plumber attending site Handyman are courteous and prompt. Their team arrive and ensure the work is carried out safely and with the minimum of disruption. They have always left the site clean and with everything in working order. WE will continue to use their services when needed.”
