“I never received my order. I have contacted customer service several times demonstrating they shipped to the wrong address and the order was received and signed for in another state. They will not respond nor refund my money. This company is a sham and fraud. Do not fall victim.”

“Asking for a review on a piece not yet received is not the best business plan. I have tracked our coffee table once shipped and note the following: the item was delivered to Buda, TX on 10/18/24; itwas picked up in TX on 10/24 and arrived in Perth Amboy, NJ on 10/31/24. Perth Amboy is 269 miles from our home and takes 4 hours and 43 minutes by vehicle. The item was then shipped to Greensboro, NC, no doubt via I-95, which is 315 miles from our home and 5 hours and 38 minutes away. The item was then sent to a facility in Ashland, VA, which lies between NJ and NC on I-95, which is 177 miles from our house and 3 hours and 21 minutes by vehicle. Not sure why the Ashland facility was passed up on the way to Greensboro, and why it has been sitting in Ashland since 11/5/24 without anyone calling to schedule a delivery. I expected the item by 10/30/24.”
“On October 21st, I ordered and was charged for the Eaton Drum coffee table. 2Modern on their website, promised shipping of my purchased item “in 5-7 business days”. Today is the 13th business day and I still do not have any idea when my coffee table will be delivered. I've cleared my schedule so I will be home when this item arrives. However, I have a busy life and therefore I need to know when my coffee table will arrive.
I should not have been charged for a coffee table that is in “limbo”, especially when a 2Modern representative told me that 2Modern is “having difficulty with this shipping company”. This is not a fair business practice and it also feels like a switch and bait advertisement ploy to get the customer to order from 2Modern.
I reached out, in an email, to CEO Greg Finney, however he never responded.

“The quality was not worth the price or return hassles. Plus add in shipping charges, return charges, and also restock fee charges. It costs way too much for the quality of the items.”

“After receiving my Tivoli radio I realized it was not Bluetooth. Wanting to return and replace with Bluetooth. I had to wait for authorization and had to pay $30 shipping to return plus minus shipping cost for the product. I will not order again for a company that makes it so hard to get a satisfactory results.”
“I ordered two night tables. One was fine, the other was mis-assembled and its drawer wouldn't open. The company sent me a replacement (after I packed it back up and flagged down a UPS truck so I didn't have to pay for a pick up) and the replacement was defective, too. Now they have gone radio silent, and I don't know what to do.”

“I purchased wallpaper from 2Modern, not realizing that the wallpaper is not waterproof. There was absolutely NO MENTION of this fact on the website at all.
When the wallpaper arrived, it felt like actual PAPER. So I contacted the company that actually produces it, and they said do not put it where it may have direct contact with water.
Of course I bought it for a bathroom. So I contact 2Modern for a return, and they tell me they won’t refund me.
$1000 down the drain because they didn’t mention at all that the wallpaper isn’t water proof.”
“I ordered a large shelf unit from 2Modern manufactured by Ethnicraft. It's solid mahogany and constructed in Indonesia - beautiful materials. Unfortunately, the design of the supports is unsafe and totally insufficient for actually using the shelf. The wall supports are set 26" apart, so most people will have to use a drywall spreader support in at least one place. No hardware was provided with the shelf, and the holes in the interior supports are so small that a screw with adequate threading to support the shelf (nevermind items atop the shelf) will not fit. The closest I could find at the hardware store was OK with the drywall spreaders, but until the head is tiny it will simply not fit into the support correctly, which causes the supports to not lie flush against the wall, which resulted in a sagging shelf.
I reached out to customer service and informed them of all of this. They simply informed me that without the original packaging the item is not returnable. Kind of ridiculous that I'm informing them that they are selling a product that comes incomplete and poses a potential safety hazard, and that's the response. The item was not cheap either.”
“At the time of placing our order for a dining table set, we were told it would take 8-10 days to ship once the order had been processed. We ordered our dining room furniture almost 4 weeks ago and then received another update that we would not be receiving our order for another 3 - 4 weeks, totalling 7 - 8 weeks before we would receive it. We followed up with the store and this was their response with regards to their shipping estimates:
“timeframe primarily pertains to the shipping process itself and does not include the transit times, which can vary based on several factors including the logistics of the delivery addresses involved. Regrettably, transit times can only be accurately determined once the order is processed, and the logistics between the origin and destination addresses are established. Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to provide precise delivery estimates until after the order has been placed.”
We would have ordered our furniture elsewhere if we had known that their shipping process takes this long. Very misleading shipping information on website and unhelpful customer service.”
