I've enjoyed a number of superb espresso's but as I am new to this there have been some that are less good .. I'm still experimenting but; from the off, all have been drinkable.”

“Bought the refurbished version and it is in perfect condition. The espresso it produces is amazing - actually got the 9barista because I was fascinated by the engineering and design but after using it I see that it produces better coffee than a lot of full size machines I tried! The biggest negative point is that they don't ship it with a couple of spare silicon shower screens. They cost little to produce but you can't use the machine if you loose the one it comes with. +design +quality +coffee quality +ease of use -accessories way to expensive and the basics (induction adapter, dosing ring, spare silicone shower screens) should be included -Fedex shipping is super expensive and annoying”

“First: the 9barista does exactly what it should, a very good espresso! So here I would give 5 stars, the only thing that I would criticise is that it is a quite small double espresso and that you cannot make more in one cooking session. For an espresso it is fine. If you want to mix it with milk, it is very small and doing a second one is quite quick but you have to do the process twice. That said, I knew it would be like that, so no critique, I just thought it would be a bit bigger.”
“After long consideration I bought the 9 Barista, mostly based on the design, and as an engineer, let's face it, the cool factor. Because how cool is it to have a non electronically self regulating stovetop espresso machine? It took several runs to dial in the grind and amount of the coffee (and flame size), but now my 9 barista produces espresso that beats my Delonghi Dedica hands down.”
