Trying to contact a representative is ridiculous, waiting on phone for almost two hours. How is that possible, unless you have one or two people answering phones. Even called at 3 am and waited for 50 minutes. This is unacceptable especially if you need access to your card asap. I will be moving to another credit card company, no time to wait on the phone. Never answer emails either. Do better people, too many other choices for consumers .

Absolutely absurd and incompetent customer service levels. Hours on hold to rectify a fraudulent charge. Do they REALLY CARE about fraud and dedicating resources to this matter? Of course not!!! The worst customer service of any credit card that I’ve come across. My guess is that they have no staff to manage the calls so they just put you on hold in hopes that you hang up.

On phone due to a fraud alert & have been waiting for 2 1/2 hours & still no one answering my call. Never had this terrible situation before. How can you do this to customers?? I’m beginning to think that this is an alleged scam brought on by Jet Blue Barclays. Poor & unreliable service & I am still on hold. Who is actually accountable for this poor service?

Someone applied for a BarclayCard with my info fraudulently. Dealing with Barclays has been awful. Call when I get home from work and get “sorry there’s no manager to assist in this here at this time”. Really? It’s a fraudulent application (that triggered their fraud dept to call me). But nobody can help me??? I’ve never had an account with Barclays, and after this I can assure you I never will. I can’t even get an employe to get me free credit monitoring that’s now due to me because of the fraudulent activity, which I’m nearly certain is a violation of United States law

Beware of this credit card. This bank arbitrarily reduce credit lines to increase your credit utilization rate and then the credit reporting bureau run by creditors reduce your credit score. Barclay then increases your interest rate for something they cause.

My wallet was stolen in December 2023. I called and reported all my credit cards stolen immediately. A fraudulent charge of $1216.91 at Best Buy was attempted on 5 credit cards. It was blocked by everyone EXCEPT Gap/Barclays/Mastercard! When I called Barclay’s they “took” the report and issued a new card which I received promptly. However I also received a bill for $1216.91! On 12/15/2023 I called Barclays, spoke with Steve and he “took” the report again. On 1/04/2024, I called to check on my account to see if there was any progress made, spoke with Love who said it would take up to 60 days for them to fix the account and she advised I should go ahead and pay the fraudulent charges. I advised I was not paying and could supply emails from 3 other companies confirming that this fraudulent charge had been attempted and blocked by their companies. She said that would not be necessary and I should be receiving a letter from them soon. So today 1/29/2024, I received a call from Barclays collections department which prompted me to call them again. I spoke to 4 different people (Monica, Pat, Aruima, & Nel) who all advised me there are no notes or documentation on my file and it had never been reported! So they took the report again and wanted to issue me a new card! I am so frustrated!! My husband just got off the phone with Barclaycardus.com Security Center 866-928-8598 and we went through everything again. Both of my calls this morning indicated I would receive a letter about the fraudulent claim and it would take 60 days to process. We will see—I’ve been told this before and have not received anything! The young lady at the Security Center, Vivian, this morning did say she would remove interest accrued on the account! She did say that it takes 60 days because they have such a large number of claims! I bet they do!

If I could give them 0 I would. Barclay's did not give me credit for a payment of $1211.23 which I made. They cashed my check and it showed up on my bank statement as having been paid to Barclay's. We are still arguing about it after 4 months. They say they cannot find where the money went to. Not my fault their system is so incompetent. I have sent them proof twice. Still no result. I have had to hire a Consumer Law attorney. He is proceeding under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. A terrible credit card!

I had fraudulent activity on my account last week. I can't get through any of their numbers. I can't believe they don't have a fraud line. I have called 6x each time I am on hold for over 2hrs! Still have not gotten through. Last year O had a dispute, they did little about it. Who cares about Mosaic if your credit card company works against you. Plus no one answers their phones! Jet Blue use a better credit card company! Back to my faithful AMEX!

I had a card with this company for around 15 years. Last fall a fraudulent $700 charge for an AirB&B reservation appeared on my statement. I called in and spoke to the fraud department and they removed it, then 3 months later they reinstated it. Their "proof" was that someone made the reservation on line using my wife's name and an old email address that she hasn't been able to access for 8 to 10 years. When I asked which would be more difficult for a scammer to find out, my credit card info or my spouses name, they told me my spouses name. Needless to say I canceled the card and will never do business with this company again.

Barclays has been automatically enrolling me in their paperless billing system, causing me to miss $100 annual charge payments and accumulate. Customer service is the by far the worst.

Dreadful. Worst customer service ever. I was appalled at the attitude and lack of help after being told to call them ASAP regarding fraudulent activity. The man who answered the call was rude, condescending and combative. Never had an experience like that. It was like a Monty Python skit. BTW we also waited a total of 7.5 hours over three days to get through.

Terrible Company with Poor and Bad Customer Service. I contacted the security department to report fraudulent and authorized transactions on my credit card. I was on hold for over 2 hours just to report this and to get my credit card canceled. About a week later, I called again to report another fraudulent and authorized transaction that went through after I canceled my credit card. I was told the transaction will be reported to the security department and it will be removed after 2-3 business days. A week went by and the transaction was still on my account. So I called the security department and have been on hold for over 3 hours now. If you are considering getting a jetBlue credit card, I highly suggest NOT to. You will regret it just like I did.

I had my account locked because of a fraudulent charge. I had a reoccurring charge monthly coming out but it was declined once I locked the card. 3 months later my card is still locked and 2 charges were allowed to come through for 72.25. When I called Barclays they said it was a reoccurring charge and they let those go through! Wait what? They pick and choose which charges they let come through and that’s not acceptable. They chose to lose a long time customer over 72.25. Apparently it’s all about the money and not business practices.

Can't add my corporate card to google pay to have it on my phone for the rare occasions I used it. In 2024 this is basic functionality that is missing. Their corporate expenses management system only deals in GBP. So useless when I travel to Ireland / Europe and their corporate card is rejected by machines, which is a regular occurrence.

They don't stand behind their customers. Do not get their card, instead consider going for a cash back card.

In all actuality seems like a scam and if I figure out how to report them to BBB I most definitely will. They made it seem like it was interest free for purchases and balance transfers for 15months. Only 1 was free and that was balance transfers. They already charged me an annual fee and I got it in October on 2023. The charger hit the end of October. Was not worth it wat so ever.

I've had a Banana Republic credit card for many years, and recently, it switched over to Barclays. However, Barclays has been automatically enrolling me in their paperless billing system, causing me to miss payments and accumulate over $100 in late fees and interest charges. I always pay my bills on time and had not even logged in or used their app since the switch. When I contacted Barclays about this issue, they insisted that I must have accidentally changed the settings online or in the app, which I know I didn't do. Despite my protests, they gave me more excuses and transferred me to different agents, some of whom had a language barrier. After 30 minutes, they finally told me that I needed to call Banana Republic to set up my account. It was frustrating, and I plan to cancel my card in the hopes that Banana Republic finds a better credit card provider.
