They returned my payment then put hold on my card and charged me late payment the whole mess as been caused by them i allways paid my balsnce off early think i will complain to ombudsman.

Barclays did not respond to the questions in my dispute. They said the vendor had not violated the invoice/contract terms and conditions. It appears they took the vendors word that they did nothing wrong. Meanwhile, I was charged over $1100 for a ticket I never saw. I would not recommend getting a Barclays American Airlines Advantage card. I will be parting ways with the card and airlines. Deep regrets!

Terrible service and attitude!!! First, I received a voice mail, wanting me to call back to an 800#. I did, they answered as Barclays and asked for my full credit card number and social security number--clearly a fraud. I tried to get call Barclays fraud department to let them know about this and found it was nearly impossible to get through to them. Second, for years I have paid on time (usually the day I receive the bill) and in full. This month my bill arrived unusually late, I immediately paid it, but they did not receive the payment by the deadline. They immediately put a hold on my card. When I called to complain, I got nothing but sarcasm from their representative. I'm taking my business elsewhere!!! I suggest you do the same.

Barclay rebilled my account and is taking zero responsibility on giving me my refund. The costumer service is questionable, they do not listen or comprehend situations. I have been speaking with customer service for 5 months to try to rectify the issue.

Worst customer service ever. My sister died and I have everything that you need to pay a bill and close her account. First time i called , everything went fine but the Bank account was frozen so I called again and they refused to even give me the total. I asked to email my POA and Death Certificate , they said they couldn't. the first time they took all my info , no problem, second time couldn't do a thing to help. No one there has any idea how to handle it when someone dies. Close the account please, do something. So many other ways to do this right. No problems with Southwest Card but Barclay, STA'Y AWAY!!!!

Worst credit card ever, you can pay them twice as much as you due payment every time, but if your credit score drops just the slightest bit they will drop your credit limit. That makes your score look even worse, STAY AWAY they don’t care

I’m trying change my phone number to have the code to pay the crediT card online ready one week, hours at phone, terrible atendentes, terrible costumer service…I tried at gap store and they can’t change, can’t receive payments…it’s insane, I just want pay 😅🤡

i have been a customer of jetblue from the being but i am now done with barclays . They keep shutting down my card not for late or none pay payment but for patriot act. They say once a year they need me to call them to tell that i don’t do business with Iraq, Iran, Cuba, et etc. no other credit card i have does this. they say once a year they do this , well it’s happen to me several time this year and when my card is shut offf all my employees card also get shut down. i am small business in new york i have no business outside new york but maybe because i purchase gas for my car from a local gas station its considered that i am dealing with iran or iraq ? Shame of it is i love jetblue and get points for using barclays card , now no more ! jetblue please bring back amex , barclays really really sucks !

Used this credit card for over 20 years and once paid off my current balance will never use them again. Reduced my credit limit based on what they say was a credit alert. My credit score has gone up and I have reduced my outstanding balance on all my cards. Tried to discuss no assistance no contact. Terrible customer service.

worst credit card provider, never even think to get any card from them. it is impossible to reach the customer service and they are not able to manage the customer matters. I received a forms from them which i have completed twice and sent them back to keep the card active, however they simply blocked the card and online access, which prevented me from making the balance payment and to download bank statements for the company accounts. it is absolutely ridicules i tried to call them from overseas so many times spent minimum 30min waiting with no success to speak to anyone.

Literally just a call center. I have been trying to close my dead grandfather's account for 7 months now and they still insist on charging ME. Don't use this. It's just a bunch of forgin people in a call center. It's a scam.

I had a fraudulent charge two charges were taken off two they continue to charge me y I’ve called multiple times an disputed charges which were flight tickets an they continue to not take care of issues I’ve called sw airlines an they confirmed the tickets were made by someone in Chicago area what else do I need to do there customer service is nothing great they just push the problem to next person

This credit 💳 card company are totally use less they will NOT represent you in case of a dispute you will not only loose you money in the dispute but the will change you interest and take months to try to resolve making you pay interest on top of you loosing the dispute the are a total disaster FIRE THEM!!!!

I called up customer service and asked why I had a balance on my card that was locked the representative had tried to help me out by calling the business that billed me. I told them I had no idea why I was being billed. So the rep had me on a 3 way call with the company. While I was on hold for over 1 hour I was dropped by the representative and the company that billed my card. I called back again and now I was told they do not call companies that I’m claiming billed me by mistake!fraud. The rep did not move from her position there was nothing they could do. I asked how the first representative was helping me but I as cutoff to no avail. I then asked to talk to her manager Again I was put on hold. So now I’ve been on the phone for a total of 1.75 hours. The manager also told me that they don’t call the business that billed me. Once again I told her that the first rep had connected me to a 3 way call with the business but at some point I was dropped off of on hold. The manager again said there was nothing she could do. So I asked about issuing a fraud claim and she said it was not a fraud charge. So unfortunately the second representative and her manager were absolutely useless in assisting me. I then ended up calling the company after researching their number on the internet. I had told them my concerns and after another hour on the phone they credited my account.to Barclays. I don’t know how many years I have been with Barclays. I made sure I canceled my account. Except for the first representative everyone else was absolutely useless

Applied for a JetBlue Credit card because I was planning to do a little more traveling. Between the time I applied and received the card my situation had changed. Because of that I decided to not activate the card. Well, Barclays took it upon themselves to activate it so they could get their greedy hands on the $99 annual fee. Once I realized it I immediately called them on it and they promised they would cancel it immediately. Well, that was a lie. The next thing I was getting past due messages. Called again. Was assured, again, the card was cancelled and everything would be fixed before there was any negative reporting against my credit. A few weeks later I got another message saying I was past due. Checked my credit and these morons were on there second month of reporting delinquent payments against me. Talked to them today, said they would fix the problem but it would take till the end of May 2024. They can F'up my credit overnight but I have to wait a month to have it fixed. Where is F'ing Congress...oh I know they're to f'ing preoccupied with trying to run bogus charges up on Trump

Barclaycard charges illegal interest charges when a balance is paid in full...AND on time. BEWARE!!! They suck! And their call center is God knows where.
