“I ordered 4 Transforce AT2 tires. I was delivered 3 of these tires, and 1 "Destination XT" how can I install 3 of the same tire and one different. I've emailed them and they haven't responded. I can't put these on until I get all 4!”
“Awful experience from start to finish.
From booking and selecting order this process was frustrating and a poor customer experience I do not want again, I would not recommend Blackcircles and will not book again.
Booking was made online on the 25th Nov for booking on Monday 30th, booking was confirmed on 26th Nov for Tuesday 1st Dec at time dictated by fitter that was not suitable for myself due to work commitments. I made plans with work to allow attendance at fitting.
On day of fitting scheduled at 11.45am, I woke to view email to advise the tyres had not been delivered and the appointment was being pushed back until Thursday 3rd Dec at 11.45.
Upon reading email regarding delay I phoned and discussed my concerns with customer services about this delay and issues this causes myself with work etc and the reply was shockingly poor. The advisors I have spoken to time and time again failed to offer any suitable resolution, no managers called back when promised and it was dictated to me when I should get the tyres fitted. I had already taken day off work for the booking only for last minute cancelation and was expected to take more time out work to attend appointment when it suited blackcircles, interesting that the customer service rep confirmed if she was in my position with moved booking that blackcircles themselves expect staff to give a min of week notice to take annual leave and could not tell me why the expectation of my employer should be any different.
When trying to resolve this booking and its delays with customer services, I was somewhat amazed at the solutions offered... these included the suggestion of collecting the tyres and to take them elsewhere to be fitted!! wow! that was a shock.... When it was made clear numerous times to several members of the customer service team that the inconvenience caused was not acceptable and I could not take more time out work for the appointment it was suggested I could drop off the car in morning and get public transport to work and collect car again after work with blackcircles paying my public transport cost - I take this as an insult! This option was inappropriate given the inconvenience caused already to this point and the fact I would not be able to travel to and from within opening times of fitter and my commitment to my employer.
When rejected and pushed I was offered a mobile tyre fitter but I highlighted the fact I had already paid for wheel alignment which could not be completed by mobile fitter and it was then suggested I take my business elsewhere. I refused given the time it had already taken and insisted the booking is resolved at which point I was advised my only option is to accept the re-scheduled appointment. At numerous points I was promised a call back from managers and no call arrived leaving me to call again and again to resolve the booking itself....
On day of rescheduled appointment I attended the fitting as directed and was left waiting for 30 mins before any work started despite no other cars in for any fitting. The car was not put on a ramp, only front end raised using 2 jacks with wheels removed and new tyres fitted. Tyres fitted but the wheels
then reattached not using correct torque given the power tools used. as a final insult, NO WHEEL ALIGNMENT was completed despite all the issues with this booking to date this was missed and not completed.
During fitting I noticed the 2 employees on site looking inside the car, when questioned they said they was looking for the tyre pressure label and proceeded to inflate the 2 front tyres. Upon leaving the fitters and checking the tyre pressures set by the fitter, both front tyres had been set to 45psi which is over the recommended pressure for the car / tyres.
When booking was complete I phone to highlight my displeasure with the lack of wheel alignment that had been included for £30 and not complete by the fitters.

I purchased tires from them, I was happy with the initial delivery. Their site is ok to use.
BUT, after getting them mounted, 80km later a bubble appeared in one. My tire shop told me I shouldnt drive, CS responses have been days apart and require me to ping them to get any response.
I finally got some concrete info from them and their response was to blame an invisible road hazard without any indication it would be so. They then told me that if I wanted warranty service I would have to pay to send the tire away. And due to them not having stock that I could call around to local garages to try and find one. Meanwhile, I still cant drive my vehicle...
I left the call with no resolution and no timeline to resolution. Simply put, they dont stand behind their product as when something goes awry, their solution is to put the responsibility on anyone else that they can.”
“I ordered tires or my son's Mazda 3. Installation was scheduled in a local shop within a week. Any questions I had were answered same day. Installation went as scheduled and best price! I would use them again for my own vehicles.”
“I knew exactly what I wanted (4 - Toyo open country A/T275/55R20), ordered them online from Blackcircles.ca. They arrived a few days later, free shipping! Pricing on 4 tires was less than what the local tire shop that buys $2M in Toyo annually could buy them for, never mind sell them for. Overall I saved $500 and change by buying online, then it was another $100 to mount and balance. Total savings was $400. Thanks! I'll buy this way again for sure.”

“I just wanted to note how disappointed I am with your poor service. I ordered and paid for tyres on November 23rd for fitting on the 28th. I received confirmation that the money had cleared and that the date had been confirmed. When I arrived at the fitting station on the 28th they had no knowledge of the booking. I called to cancel the order with Black Circles who told me the garage had declined the order.
Why do I have to get up early on a Saturday morning, go to a place where I have confirmation of a fitting for them to have no knowledge? To add to this, this is the second time your company has done this.
I will never use your services again and will put negative feedback on every forum possible to ensure others do not waste their time and money.”
“Black circles, wish I had read the reviews first.. My hope fitting was cancelled on the day of my fitting just before my scheduled time. The next appointment was cancelled. So I arranged a fitting at the local garage, When I arrived there my tyres couldn't be found.I was later told to go back because they had them. But yet again was told by the fitter they didn't. Finally I got a call and my tyres where there at last. I recon if i hadn't resorted to twitter this still wouldn't have been done. After all this hassle they said I would get £90 back on a £700+ order. But have only been reimbursed £70.
They certainly know how to give you the run around!”
“So i have a flat tyre this means i cant drive the car. I buy tyres under mobile fitting service and purchase 2 tyres with the understanding the garage will come to me as i have booked for a MOBILE FITTING SERVICE. After taking my £222 i get an email to say "oh, you have to pay the fitter a call out fee the £222 doesnt include fitting".
I then call the garage who tell me "sorry miss we dont do a mobile tyre service".
So after searching in google for a blackcircles number that works (because the one in my confirmation was not working) im told by customer service "sorry we dont have a MOBILE service in your area, can you drive it" HELLO i've just told you my tyre is completly flat, no i can not drive it and damage my alloys, this is why i booked under MOBILE TYRE SERVICE". I'll.be refunded in 3 to 5 working days. Black Circles update your website ,dont make ppl book and pay under mobile service if this isnt what your offering. Useless, wont use again and wont recommended.

I waited 3 weeks and I havent received my tires so I called and they said the shipper were in the process of shipping my tires tires back to black circle tires distribution centre...
They said it was something to do with my address? Even tho I live in vancouver.
So I canceled my order and waited another 2 weeks for them to refund my master card.
I will never use them again for tires and wouldn't recommend them.”

“Price was decent, but (and this is biggie for me) the fitting slot I selected was unilaterally changed by BlackCircles , and when I responded to their change (within 5 minutes) my email was ignored. No other slots for 5 further days
This was late Monday morning after a weekend order.
Instead I had them delivered and used a local garage to fit. Local garage tells me that Blackcircles takes a majority chunk out of the fitting charge; Blackcircles would have given them well under a fiver /wheel. Really not on.”

“Blackcircles web site easy to use but on getting the tyres fitted at Pro Tyre Preston not good. They cut corners to make back some money that blackcircles dont pay them. Had 4 tyres fitted non off then balanced properly and rear two not balanced at all. Will not pick blackcircles again unless they tell there partners to do the job to all expectations.”

I'm sure it's ok when it works but the way a company deals with issues when they do appear is very telling of how much they actually care about their customers. Unfortunately Blackcircles deals with issues very poorly and does not seem to care about their customers at all.
I was notified last minute that the previously advised timeslot at the given garage "could not be confirmed" and to contact for alternatives.
I've replied with numerous emails, got nothing back, tried the phone hotline and the heavily advertised call-back-feature and got nothing back. Eventually I called again and held on the phone until I finally got through to a customer service advisor.
He poorly explained that the timeslots advertised on the website don't actually mean anything. Black circles has no information on if a garage is actually available at that time, they will take your money and make you believe you can rely on a given appointment and then hope the garage can accomodate. That leads me to the question: What value does Black circles add? The customer service guy could not answer me this question either. It's supposed to be a convenience service, yet has just added more stress, delay, hardship and a terrible experience to the process of getting new tires. No value added.
I highly recommend anyone who values their time to just directly arrange with a garage and cut out the parasitic middle-man with no transparency and terrible customer service, seeing how no extra value or service is provided.
Oh, and as a "cherry" on top, the automatic queing system advised me to hold after my conversation with a customer service advisor to provide feedback and a rating. However, the customer service advisor refused to hang up, thus preventing me from giving any feedback. So here I am, giving my feedback on reviews.io.”
