“This complaint is not with black circles.com but with the garage we went to formula 1 auto at erdington. I am 80 years old and was told I could not sit in the room and wait. It was poring with rain at the time. I know people have to be careful but they had to get in my car to move it. I would not use this garage again.”
“Very easy to order tyres. Spoke to a very helpful girl in the office to confirm. Fitting was booked for Wednesday morning at Tyrespot Washington. 30 mins later driving out with tyres fitted. Excellent price, and service from both Black Circles and Tyrespot Washington”
“Very poor customer service. I booked a slot 3 days in advance for tyres and fitting. Get a time slot and confirmation email. Then to get a email and a text the day before fitting saying it cant be done. Then to have the fitting re booked for a later date without asking me prior to this. I then replied to the email and no one answered this, so I rang the help line which was also poor customer service. This is happened to me before I am now awaiting a refund.”
“Thanks to the tyre reviews on some Taurus tyres I was looking at for my a5 I purchased them and picked a garage to have them fitted all done within 4 of ordering them no problems and fitted really well 10/10 from me”
“Booked AM appointment fitting 4 tyres, 2 days i advance, had to call fitters waited for response, none forthcoming, emailed black circles booked for morning slot as per my original booking followed swiftly by cancellation email rebooting for 3 days later, had to call and rebook convenient slot, suggested website state booking does not confirm you will get the date/time you want. Will not be returning customer...sort your booking system out”
“Extremely poor customer service
Booked Thursday for a Saturday appointment they cancelled by email and re-booked me on the following Tuesday with no discussion.
Luckily I saw the email on the Thursday contacted Blackcircles and told them the appointment was not acceptable, they booked me in with a garage further away for the Saturday.
On Friday they cancelled this appointment and re-booked for the following Wednesday again appoint time and place were not acceptable due to work.
I contacted blackcircles on Friday after consulting their website and gave them a time, date a garage that was acceptable.
Monday 10 minutes before they close they emailed me to say I was booked in at a garage miles away from the garage I wanted but they maybe able to fit me in on Tuesday. By the time I got the email it was to late to call.
I called today Tuesday to tell them that the garage was not acceptable with the timings and I would like the garage nearer me at 12:15 on Tuesday as stated in my email on the Friday before.
The earliest appointment they could make was for Friday over a week after I had originally booked, even though their website states that earlier appointments are available.
I am aware that local garage is slightly more expensive when booked direct rather than booked through Blackcircles but considering Blackcircles website and customer service is trash it looks like this is the way to go in-future.”
“Ordered tyre selected date and time and got an e-mail saying they couldn’t confirm for original booking , delayed by two days , more expensive than other on line providers by 8 -10% .I will shop around in future I have used Blackcircle for several years and never had these problems , don’t know what’s going wrong with them now , looks like there are problems .”
“awful, they offer you slots at a local garage without checking they can get the tyres there on time. Twice I have taken time off work only to be emailed the evening before to say there’s been a hold up with delivery. Stay away”
“Very disappointing customer service.left the garage with a freshly done scratch on my cars door.make a complain two weeks later got mail from Kenny from blackcircle that he has spoke to the guy Ali in the garage that never the incident never happened and therefore he can process the claim.very unprofessional taking one side for granted.never going use blackcircle again.avoid them.”

“Tyres ordered did not arrive to fitters on time. No communication about this so waited all day for mobile fitter to arrive but no avail. Once it became clear fitter was not going to arrive I only had to wait 3 hours on the phone to be told the tyre was not in stock. Was a regular and happy customer of Blackcircles in the past, but the company definitely changed for the worst since being taken over. Do not recommend.”
“Blackcircles have so far cancelled 3 tyre fitting appointments and now in call back queue to book 4th fitting. Absolute joke of an outfit. Shame I have paid in advance for this shocking service.”
“Yeah, what can I say. My experience was the same as almost everyone else - I bought the tyres, booked a day for them to be fitted, only to have them email me (not even ring!) the day before to say it wasn't going to happen.
I'm currently waiting in a phone queue to get a refund. It's been ten minutes so far... After this I'll have to go and ask the boss if I can unbook the holiday I had booked for tomorrow.
Needless to say I won't be using them again.”
“Tyres booked and paid for 10 days before they were due to be fitted.
Recieved a call 1 hour after they were supposed to turn up to advise that the tyres are not in stock.
The customer service team were a joke and actually asked me to speak clearer as his "English is not very good!!"
Finally got a refund a week later.
The prices may be less expensive than other places but it's worth paying extra to avoid this joke of a company.”
“They accepted an order, agree date/time and took money from my bank account (nearly £500) and then they send an email saying "I am sorry to advise that we are unable to confirm the booking with the garage you selected. At this stage, the earliest fitting date we can offer is X onward subject to availability". I had booked time off for the fitting and did not want to make another unconfirmed booking. Blackcircles perhaps rely upon the fact that they already have my money and that I would not go to another supplier. Well think again guys - sharp practices such as this do not create customer loyalty.”
“Don't expect them to actually fit the tyres on the day that they agree, they are very unreliable and will cancel last minute.
I got an email at 17:30 the night before my booking slot telling me that they can't do it any more and the earliest they can do it is in 5 days.
Infuriating experience overall and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.”
“A week ago I took my car to the garage at the pre arranged time. The garage said the tyres hadn't been delivered and they would call me when they came in. Having waited 3 days I called the garage who said I would have to deal with Black Circles directly as I had ordered through them. I have emailed and another day and they haven't responded. It's a week since I paid for them now, I have tried calling but the lines are constantly busy. My advice is pay a bit more and go to Quick Fit.”
“Black Circle confirmed a fitting date online only to call later to change the date. This was fine and I changed it with a 2 week delay. Then I took the car in for the fitting and the tyres hadn't been delivered - Black Circle had failed to deliver them, no call or email warning.
The garage says they do this all the time but they are the cheapest and they just can't match the price. Now I can't get hold of them on the phone, just spending hours holding - I'll buy straight from the garage next time.”
