“Customer service is abysmal, once they have your money you no longer exist, they will not accept exchange without receipt even though you have primark logo on the unopened unused and original packaging.
No customer service in stores and jobs worth management who are no help at all. On line customer service is exactly the same. Will not shop here again and recommend others not to until customer services get their act together.
Appalling!”
“The quality of their clothing is bad and cheap even though their prices are average. Got some fuzzy socks and they started shredding in chunks as you see on the floor.”
“Went to exchange an item without receipt, as I had lost it, ( my fault I know) but was refused, as they don't even do exchanges without receipt, which is disapointing. I think customers shud be made aware of this when at checkout,”
“Good and bad only one till open ground floor in Norwich store at 8am today, lady on till doing excellent job managing returns as well as numerous ssles.”
“My husband didn't feel well in the Newcastle store today the first aider Veronica was absolutely brilliant, she got him a chair brought him water, stayed with us till he felt better, and took us to the checkout, and put our shopping through,so we didn't have to wait in the long queue, absolutely brilliant 5*”
“I was at livingstone store on sat 23d Oct to do an exchange and cmass shopping. I wanted to exchange an item for a bigger size. It was a gift to me so had no receipt, only wanted straight swap but they refused. Really bad policy as still had tags on as well.”
“Public humiliation
Hello,
Today 22/10/2021 I went to Primark store in Eastham 51 High St N, London E6 1HZ, it was around 2.20-2.30pm.
I went to try to find shoes. I checked shoes and on the way out stopped to check sports trousers. While I was looking at trousers a man came close to me and asked how many phones I have? I asked why and got another question: where am I from? I replied, ``Why do you need to know?’’ and stepped away near the exit. He started raising his voice to me and stopped me near the exit. When he said 3 phones were stolen in the store and I was around these people apparently. Another guy came and he was the security manager and said that 3 phones were stolen so how many phones do I have? I said I have one phone and showed my bag. While all this happened another white ethnic lady stopped to exit the store as well about 3 phones. Other people can come in and go out of the store, just me and another white lady were stopped. This is the most Public humiliation I experienced in my life. I feel accused of things I didn't do and humiliated in public because I am a white European woman. I will never go to Primark in my life and as well will warn all my friends and family members to be careful of Public humiliation in Primark which I experience. Just note: the store has cameras so please check it before publicly humiliating any person. I never hear the introduction of the person who approached me and the same of a security manager. After all this no one apologised to me for how I was treated in the store. Where am I from? The answer is white European women Indefinite Leave To Remain in the UK.”
“Alarmed by the amount of shoppers in your Irvine store today not wearing masks (this is still mandatory in Scotland). No signage regarding this at the entrance and did not see anyone being questioned regarding this. I did not feel safe and left quickly and won't be back for a long time. Surely you have some responsibility for the health of your shoppers and workers and should apply all local rules for the country you operate in.”
“I visited the Telford store yesterday and thought it was to be congratulated on how tidy and smart the shop was. It is the best one I have been in. To be honest being a grandmother in my 70s I have only visited the shop with my granddaughters, but have now made a few purchases myself. Well done Telford store.”
“Exchange policy for lost reciept is ridiculous , exchanging an item unworn with tags for another item is no loss for primark . Except I won’t be buying from there again. So there s your loss.
If they at least offered an email reciept as back up they would have a leg to stand on with their draconian refund policy .”
“I would like to thank Primark for their excellent staff and assistance.
Bored with grey dull sports wear I enquired if any gender neutral wear was available
I was soon directed to far more colorful sports leggings and mesh tops. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.
I purchased leggings and unisex mesh bra tops.
I wear these at the gym and get admiring glances of both male and female members.
I attend the gym in bright rather than dull colours with a new found confidence.
Plus very comfy a good price and wash well
Well done Primark.”
“Prices very deceiving … the price on tag is never the right one on the receipt. This needs to be looked into .. I compared the price on clothes and receipt and total came to $16.50 more on receipt!!”
“Never shop there!!!Waiting in line to return something. Working came over and told us to move because we weren’t in the right place. He said we had to go behind other people that came after u. So rude because we were there first. if I could give it no stars I would! Never shop there again.!! He was so unprofessional!!”
“I took a dress back to Wakefield a small hole had got bigger the female manager was very rude and accused me of tearing the dress l rarely return items about 2 in 3 years l had just recently had a cancer bowel diagnosis so l was already upset”
“the prices on your items are very decieving. many of your items are different when you go to the register than what they are marked wrong wrong wrong....”
