“very easy to see where everything is in the shop - long queues but move very quickly as they always have lots of cashiers working.. The Birmingham stores are always very tidy and workers are helpful when you need anything. They are always willing to go look or order what you want.”
“I really wish people would stop complaining about primark not refunding or exchanging things even when they have tags attached. Everything in the shop have the tags attached. People could have just picked it up from the shelve. It really isn't hard to keep a receipt. So please stop making excuses and blaming the shop. It's your problem not theirs.”
“Well all in all a good experience but the reason I put a 4 is that the bags are always tearing apart so when I go it's raining ☔ one time and I have to lift the bag with two hands becuse there is a rip down rhw side and my things are comming out the quality of the things I bought were very good so that's a bonus I just think that they should have plastic bags”
“I’d shopped at Primark Westgate Oxford and went to Pret for lunch. I realised on leaving that I’d left a Sweaty Betty bag of shopping somewhere in Primark. The security officer at the door was Faycal Lemones and on telling him the issue took me up to customer services and found my lost bag of Xmas shopping. He was brilliant. Very reassuring and helpful, even said that he’d check the security cameras if we couldn’t find it. Great customer service 🌟”
“After almost finishing our shopping (we had been in store for well over an hour) my daughter spotted a dress she liked. As we had 2 of the store's shopping bags, full to the brim, and as I was extremely tired (I am 74) before we entered the dressing room I called over the queuing barriers to the assistant at the entrance asking two questions:
1. Was there somewhere inside where I could sit down while my daughter tried on the dress and
2. Were we allowed to bring the 2 shopping bags into the dressing room.
We received a very surly answer of "yes" to both of the questions.
We therefore made our way down the queuing barriers to the entrance. My daughter was asked how many items she had to which she replied "one". The woman then looked at the 2 shopping bags and said, again very abrupt and surly "you can't take them in, you'll have to leave them here" even though I had just asked asked her and the answer was yes we could. I proceeded to put the bags in the back room to which I was instructed to "take them out and put them here", "here" being right in the entrance to the dressing room. I pointed out that someone would fall over them to which she replied "you need a ticket". The ticket was duly given and then I had to pick them up and place them, yes, guess where, back in the backroom. Why they couldn't have stayed there in the first place whilst I was given the ticket is anyone's guess.
My daughter tried the dress but it was too small. At the exit a different lady put my daughter's "how many items" ticket into the machine and said "you took 5 items in". My daughter said "no, I only took one item in". The assistants then kept shouting through to the surly woman at the entrance who said "she hadn't written it down" whatever that meant. What followed was excruciatingly embarrassing for my daughter. She was literally frog marched back into the dressing room by another assistant who looked round the dressing room with my daughter and then in front of a now, very long queue, shouted loudly that there was nothing in there. The whole fiasco was horrendous. The "frogmarching" assistant then apologised to which I replied that the assistant on the entrance needed training on her customer service skills and her manners. I was then told it would be reported to the Supervisor.
I spent £165.50 and my daughter spend £102.00. If we hadn't spent such a long time choosing the gifts I would have just walked out without buying anything.
The time was circa 1.00 pm on Wednesday 13th November.
It was a really bad experience and we both feel really aggrieved. ”
“I was not able to try shoes on with my trousers to see how they look and it was for a funeral.woman in the fitting room not very understanding infact quite rude.”
“Primark sorry to hear I had a bad experience...Well I'm sorry that I've always given you my money... Tried to change a coat that was a size bigger but told I couldn't..even though I had a valid receipt...I was 1 day out of there're 28 day policy ...Im also a disabled person so getting out is very hard for me. I also had about £150 worth of other goods I wanted to buy as xmas presents. When told I couldn't even exchange the coat for a bigger size...I told them..for donkeys years I've always shopped in Primark and has from today you have lost my custom...Primark what a stupid policy you now have...I could understand if I didn't have a receipt but I did....With this policy of yours I'm now looking forward to seeing your company going into liquidation very soon.”
“Worst costumer service ever!!!
Live abroad, asked to Change size to new with tags cloths with receipt a bit more than 28 days- BIG NO!!!
Unbelievable!!”
“Terrible refund policy even with receipt and all the tags! They said they couldn’t take back a blouse I bought on Saturday and returned today. As it had a mark on it - the same mark they sold it to me with! Then said by their own admission they wouldn’t buy from the shop they work in. Taking it to trading standards to resolve as the staff offer very bad customer service and don’t follow their own refund policy. Avoid At all costs!”
“Went to trostre primark this morning
Wanted to use the ladies cloakroom didn't know if there was one there as not sign posted. Asked a member of staff on the children's dept and she was most helpful cant thank her enough as I'm disabled. What a wonderful customer service I received today you should be so proud of your staff there .”
