Ordered 2 reams of expensive photo paper which arrived bent, crumpled and torn. Packaged without any protection at all, a six year old could of packed it better. Ryman customer service non existent… just sorry it’s packed by our supplier. Wake up Ryman I’m not coming back … poor very very poor !

Didn’t receive my replacement item after returning and didn’t receive my refund. Customer service were so rude and argumentative. Do not use.

After spending over £200 on drawers which arrived flimsy & damaged we had to fit them up as we needed them urgently.. was offered £10 refund. Insulting.

Ryman publish false measurements for a chair I bought online. When I assembled it, I found the chair useless because of the wrong description given by Ryman. I find it hard to believe they don't know it's wrong. Ryman use Fedex and offered only deliveries/pickups within a whole-working-day window. i.e. before 6pm. This means to do online business with Ryman you need to be ready to give up a whole day to receive it, and just hope it's what you want. So I've so far lost two working days waiting for the delivery, and then waiting for the collection. Then the collection never happened, and they want me to waste a third working day because they're unable to use a courier service with modern standards. I've told them that I will make no further accommodations, other than a three-hour window appointment. Ryman refused this, with its customer service representative taking a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. I think Ryman needs to go out of business. I will never use it again for as much as the purchase of a ballpoint pen. Life is just too short to deal with a company like this.

please do yourselves a favour and never order from this company, ordered a printer and received an automated email 2 days later stating it had been dispatched, a week later it hadnt arrived so emailed the company to ask where it was, 3 emails later and still no reply, had to open a paypal dispute to try to get my money back.

WORST COMPANY EVER! Do not order. I have had to consistently chase my delivery; and they consistently say that they do not know anything and that they are ‘processing’ or “chasing”. This has been going on for a month. I have had to seek legal action and dispute this with my bank. They have stolen £600 from me!!! The courier have signed for the packages themselves and it has been STOLEN! They consistently lie on the phone and provide no updates so I have spent HOURS on the phone chasing this! I am disgusted!!!!! Never ever ever use them. Lying and useless company!

Visited the Blackpool store today, purchased 2 items totalling just over £13 and the cashier tried to charge me £25 I queried the price and another assistant came over and told me “1 of the item was in the wrong place they are £16” when it was shows to be £4. They then spent about 5 minutes discussing between themselves when they needed to do tomorrow whilst I was being ignored! I said to them can I just take this item please?! My money was taken no words said, My change was just slapped down on the counter and they just walked off. Poor customer service and should of sold me the product at the advertised price.

Scammers! AVOID! All the negative reviews here are true. These people are scammers. AVOID BUYING FROM THEM. After we received our order (late) all the boxes were wet and the products were damaged. It took them over a week to collect the damaged items after days of fake collection arrangements via email and so much time wasted over the phone. When the replacement finally arrived, it was also damaged! We've now been trying to get them replaced or get some sort of partial refund for OVER A MONTH! So we're now stuck with a damaged bed and bedside tables and no reasonable solution has been offered. Disgusting. AVOID!!

Ordered a Cricut machine online with an extra’s package. They processed the order and took the money. Then they emailed to say it was out of stock and I could have a refund. I checked their website and they had added about £60 to the price and had them showing as in stock. Spoke to customer service ( there’s a joke). They said I had an old browser - how thick is that. Pointed out that they were talking rubbish and they just went missing, 10 minutes later someone else came to us offering to process a refund of the difference if I re purchased at the higher price - do you really think we’re as daft as your untrained customer service people??? P.s. I’ve been in customer service for 40 years and know this is a great way to lose customers.

I work around piccadilly I went to sent my post special delivery. I wanted help, actually the assistant made me do the job while he giving me orders. I was completely shocked about their Customer service. God knows whether my post will be delivered or not, let me say discriminative assistant.

The staff in ryman stationery strand branch are not friendly. Except for that Dhl guy at the back the other short guy and lady are not so welcoming to customers. Please don't be crossed if tourists asked where to buy stamps and stationery items, we were new in London, you guys should help at least. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Please be kind and helpful next time.

i was going to purchase a pen for £2. the delivery fee was nearly double the price of the pen!!!!! £3.95 for a pen that ways like 5 grams! no chance.

Appauling!! Is the only word to describe this company and its customer service. Ordered a garden shed at the end of May. Waited 7 weeks for it to be delivered. Delivery arrived and it was the wrong product so had to send it back with the delivery driver. This was 4 weeks ago. I am still waiting for my item to be dispatched whilst they attempt to sort out their error with their suppliers. They are very hard to get hold of and I seem to be fobbed off everything I send them an email. I would not recommend purchasing from this retailer, it's just too stressful !!

I ordered and paid for a Wacom 16 Graphic tablet and was told it would be here on the following Monday. Started getting concerned on Monday night as I hadn't received it and I also hadn't gotten an email to say it had even been shipped. Tried several times to get in touch with someone without success. The "Live Chat" is no such thing. It's automated and useless. There is no contact number either. After several attempts on the "Live Chat" and then emailing several times I STILL haven't heard back. It's now way past the delivery date. No one is calling me back. No one is emailing me. I've spent over £500 and have nothing to show for it. I then went on to look at reviews for the website and I WISH I had done that before ordering because they have awful reviews! I would never have used them had I seen all of the poor customer services and missing delivery reviews and comments. I'm absolutely gutted.

Extremely poor service. Can't actually speak to a person and although delivery was supposed to be a week ago I have heard nothing and it still says processing. The automated chat is less than helpful and although they have been contacted 3 times they have yet to get back to me.

Though I came near closing time at 5 oclock at their windsor store yesterday. The staff was least helpful, Pathetic customer service, no discounts offered as they advertise, staff of two were in more hurry to close the store rather than helping potential customers purchase stationary. Some of the customers were refused to even enter the store. I finalised my order and had to leave without it because the staff was rushing to close the shop. The tall boy even threatened to call the police if I dont leave instantly, and Couldnt answer simple questions on How I could pay and get my order. Poor service ! Never coming back. I will be reporting that poor customer service standards of your store to to the Trading Standards officer tomorrow. Also if my complaint is not resolved legal action will be taken.

Impossible to get hold of anyone. Their "customer service" chat is automated, hard to navigate around and impossible to speak to an actual human. I wish I knew this before emy purchase, I'd have paid more for a better known company. Never again

I placed an order for a chair 10 days ago which I was advised would arrive on the 1st of June - I took a day off work so that I could be in for delivery. I had received no updates on where the delivery was after I placed to order. The chair never arrived on the 1st so I called Rymans on the 2nd to investigate. After being on hold for over 30 minutes I finally got through to Darren who didn't seem at all interested in my issue (until right at the end when I said I was going to make a formal complaint and he unsurprisingly changed his tune). He advised it was Yodel who were delivering the chair - NO ONE had told me that and I had had no communication from Yodel. Apparently they attempted delivery 3 times last week but "could not access the property" - I live in a flat in central London, it's not hard. No card had been left and now Yodel have said I need to go and collect it from the Depot. Rymans have been completely unhelpful and said that it is not their problem and it's their supplier who the issue is with but it IS Rymans problem because I ordered from their website and it's up to them to liaise better with their suppliers. I am now left with no chair and no option but to collect it from the Depot (it will be very heavy and I don't have a car so will be an expensive taxi ride). Really just wishing I had NEVER ordered from Rymans and I certainly never will again and will advise everyone I know to avoid at all costs. Completely unhelpful as per usual.

I ordered two items on Sunday it was not made clear it would not be delivered until Tuesday as it said order before 4pm and delivered next day which we did and paid extra for next day delivery. They now say it will not be delivered until Tuesday. I could have picked it up from our local town on Monday as the item was required on Monday. I don't like paying for things I don't get. Will not use Ryman again.
