“If John Lennon and George Harrison came back to life and The Beatles had a reunion concert and the only place I could buy tickets was StubHub, I would miss the concert. Sold tickets and it took me 84 days and about 12 very frustrating hours on the phone to finally get paid. I wish I were exaggerating. In the end I found a workaround and managed to get my money, the people who work there only know a few sentences which they keep repeating. Also they don’t listen to a word you are saying. Never again.”
“I bought tickets to an event that never occurred. Worse, the facility is listed on line as permanently closed. I have continously reached out to Stubhub but never have received a response to my complaint.”
“Absolutely awful company. Never use Snubhub. I ordered a parking pass and never received the QR code. Called snubhub and they would not giving me back my $70 dollars. Awful that we didn’t get the pass and were charged. Awful company”
“AWFUL , LIARS , KEEP MONEY FOR PROFIT.. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THEM... TRIES TO DEBIT MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT INSTEAD OF GIVING MONEY BACK THAT YOU WERE PROMISED!!!! A DISGRACE”
“they are crooked and not legitimate sellers when they sell a ticket that they dont even know exist. the worst part of this crooked company is they take your money, put it in their bank, draw interest on YOUR money, and then refund you the purchase amount, say sorry and take the profits. DO NOT EVER GIVE THIS COMPANY ON RED CENT!!!!!”
“Purchased Sabrina Carpenter tickets, got them 20 minutes before the event. Listing said clear view, and the tickets said obstructed view when they were downloaded. Contacted customer service while I was there and they said that since the concert was in progress they couldn’t do anything. Contacted them after and the agent was an asshat and said that since I used the tickets, no matter how many times I contacted customer service I would be denied a refund. I explained several times that I literally got them at the event and I tried to call them then, but they didn’t care. Total scam.”
“After purchasing my ticket to the Army football game through Stub Hub, I received another offer for parking passes. I paid approximately $175 (including fees) for the parking pass. Upon arrival today, I discovered that all parking lots were free at the venue. Stub Hub said that they can do nothing to reimburse me. The gentleman sitting next to me at the game had a similar experience. There should be recourse from Stub Hub”
“Bought a parking pass for an event 3 months in advance the stadium changed their parking lot a month later so they got rid of the lot I purchased a ticket from I saw multiple people saying they already received updated passes so I contacted StubHub since I never received a new one told me to give seller time to transfer it so I wait until the month of my event and try again just for them to tell me the same thing so I wait until 2 weeks before just for them to tell me the same thing again I try again the week OF and they still tell me the same thing but this time adds that they have until the day of so I called the day of on the phone with them most of my 6 hour drive to the event I had arrangements to get their when they open the gates at 4 and I still didn’t receive it so I had to get dropped off there I didn’t receive it until 5:15 when I was already there so I didn’t use it so I called and asked for a refund the next day they processed one and said 5-8 business days I call on the 8th business day cause I still haven’t received it just for them to talk in circles so I call again the next day after still not receiving it for them again talk in circles so I talk to a manager just for him to say since I did receive it before the event I technically shouldn’t be getting a refund not caring that I explained I had arrangements months in advance to get there at a certain time so just because I “received it before the event started at 7” doesn’t mean I received it in time to use and he still didn’t think they were in the wrong I will never use them again I’ve never been treated so badly”
“@StubHub is absolutely terrible. Their “FanProtect” guarantee means nothing. I’ve been dealing with trying to get a refund after getting ripped off. I’ve reported the issue multiple times to their CS team, manager Kevin, agent Christina… they’ve done nothing.”
“Right now, I'm singing Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time," and I would keep my money and run far away from this company. I ordered tickets for a show in Vegas at 7 p.m., but when the tickets came, they were for 9:30. The no-nothing Customer Service agent was a piece of work. I will never, ever use this outfit again! Zero stars!!”
“Horrible, horrible, horrible communications whether buyer or seller. Avoid this excerise in unending stress and frustration at all cost. Wish zero stars was an option.”
“Truly awful experience and I'll never use StubHub again.
I bought tickets to an Underoath show on 10/17. The ticket I received were for 10/16. Between 10/17 and 10/18, I called StubHub 6 times in order to get this resolved, either by getting a replacement ticket or getting a refund. It's 10/31 and I still don't have a refund. I just finished call #9 moments ago.
Multiple agents saying that they'll do something that they didn't do.
Multiple statements of "you FORGOT to add a default payout option" despite *never being told* this was something I needed to do to get a refund.
Multiple requests for supervisors; received no call backs and was flat-out denied supervisor service during call #9. Tells me that either supervisors get A LOT of callback requests or there's nothing about my experience that's abnormal enough to warrant supervisor intervention...maybe y'all should examine that.”
“Terrible Never imagined that this is even possible, but tonight Jessica and I experienced greed at a sad level. I bought Jessica, concert tickets to Sabrina Carpenter in July of this year for her event at America Airlines Center Dallas taking place tonight. I’ve received multiple updates and even ticket confirmation today! We were in line and getting tickets scanned they won’t scan an error message came up! We went to the help desk at American Airlines Center and only dealt with Ticket Master as they said to much fraudulent activity with Stub Hub. The head of AA security told us this happens all the time with Stub Hub. So what ended up happening is the seller on Stub Hub pulled our tickets today with no warning and as of even right now they show available. Stub Hub’s customer service admitted to this happening and said yes I’ll be refunded! Saving for tickets, planning since July, taking off work early to get my daughter excited, parking 45 bucks for fuel, etc It’s not right! Stub Hub admitted to the safeguard not working and they just blocked that seller from future transactions.
Hate this to happen to anyone else
Stub Hub this is unacceptable
I’m huge on customer service tonight’s incompetence and greed were at a different level ( I want a refund and for you all to make this right) Fuel, Parking, Shame Stub Hub your greed is out of control!”
“Horrible experience with StubHub. I had to transfer tickets because I could no longer attend the event. I received threatening emails from stub hub. The customer service representative was angry and abrupt. It was one of the worst transactions I have had this year. I will try not purchase tickets from StubHub again.”
“I bought a parking pass for David Gilmour at the Hollywood bowl three months ago. The pass was supposed to be within 1.5 miles but that wasn’t even advertised when I bought them. It turns out that the parking lot that they assigned me to is 2.2 miles away, which is easily a 45 minute walk one direction, there are plenty of parking spots for the price and under what I paid for this ticket near the Hollywood bowl. I called in a few times. They told me to expect an email before the show which is tonight. I never got it. I called them up again. They told me that I was guaranteed to get a proper ticket or my money back. The operator tonight told me that it’s my tough luck. They have a Google map screenshot showing the true distance, but they dug in their heels.
Nobody wants to walk 45 minutes before and after a show. To add insult to injury, that particular parking lot is in the middle of nowhere charges a day rate of nine dollars.
I won’t use Stubhub again. And my recommendation to check out the website Parkopedia hopefully will get enough people not to use this useless scam site.”
