“Horrible company. Selling tickets that aren't on sale with no way to confirm if they are real and no way to get money back. No way to contact the seller and horrible customer service.”
“If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I had no idea that StubHub ONLY resells other people's tickets. We paid over $600 for friends (from out of town) to see a concert with us. The site kept telling me the location had not released the tickets yet. Then the day of the concert, it told me they would not be released until 4pm. At 6pm we still didn't have tickets. I called support and they told me they had to send me an email with options because the ticket owners never released the tickets. The email options were to find another set of seats, but the concert was sold out, so our only option was to get a refund. WTH!? How can you spend that kind of money and not get your seats? If you don't have the tickets don't sell them! I will NEVER EVER USE STUBHUB AGAIN. It is a lie and a scam!”
“StubHub was on point and quick upon receiving my ticket. I had no issues, it gave me the exact information of my seating assignment and schedule of when the show started. This was for an Orchestra and I will say I am impressed of the service I got for this! Hope to use this for future events!”
“Stubhub was quick to get us tickets after payment was received. Though, it did give us the wrong tickets, it quickly corrected itself, and notified us promptly that it would get us new tickets. Our seats were a great value.”
“I was upset because we were informed the day before the performance that the tickets that we originally purchased were no longer available. I don't normally purchase through StubHub. Is that normal practice? I was then offered tickets with an obscured view which is not acceptable for a ballet performance. I declined that offer. I was then offered excellent seats which we accepted. It all turned out very well because we had seats that far exceeded what we originally purchased.”
“How can they sell your tickets without even sending confirmation of your listing and the price you requested?and to tell you,you have to go in after you listed your tickets and ensure you uncheck the dynamic pricing feature…pretty sad..”
“I got my tickets much easier for this event than the last. I am disappointed with the additional fees that were attached to the purchase. I am still waiting for a refund for the tickets I purchased to see the Black Crows which was postponed and no date has been released. How long are you going to hold my money? And why was the concert postponed. I heard they had a better offer to play else where. Maybe I don't want to see them now if that's how they feel.”
“I’m writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience with your platform.
After purchasing tickets through StubHub, I retrieved them via email, accepted them, and used the platform to share one ticket with my guest. They received the email but when clicking the provided link, no ticket was available. I sent screenshots clearly showing what my guest received and the error displayed, proving the failure was on StubHub’s system.
Despite this, your team told me, “there’s nothing we can do” and refused to issue a refund. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, I was told due to high call volume, that wasn’t possible. I was effectively left with no solution, no accountability from your side, and out over $400 while missing the concert entirely.
This is unacceptable. I paid in good faith, followed the process, and provided proof when it failed”
“I was a little scared, not going to lie never spend that much money on a ticket, but this was a once in a lifetime event in another country but you guys made the tickets feel safe secured I really appreciate it. I will definitely get a ticket from you guys again again thank you.”
“Absolutely unacceptable experience – ruined a special night
I spent $1,600 on two club-level tickets through StubHub to see the Lakers play the Magic—a gift for my son’s 14th birthday. The seller never released the tickets. I then spent 40 minutes on the phone with customer service, desperately trying to resolve the issue while missing the entire first quarter of the game.
Their solution? A pair of “comfortable” replacement seats, which, while technically closer to the court, were in the middle of the section—a location I would never choose. We were wedged in among strangers, with no aisle access or privacy, which completely defeated the purpose of paying premium prices for a curated experience.
To top it all off, they offered a $25 coupon as compensation. That’s not even 2% of what I paid. It was an insult—especially considering the time lost, the frustration endured, and most importantly, the fact that a milestone birthday gift for my son was thoroughly ruined.
StubHub showed zero regard for customer experience, and absolutely no meaningful accountability. I will never use them again, and I’d strongly urge anyone considering it to think twice.”
