“If I could choose minus five stars, I would. This is the worst courier company I have ever had any experience of dealing with. They have the worse customer services ever. Completely incompetent. DO NOT USE!!!
I ordered a mattress from Groupon and unfortunately they used XDP to supposedly deliver my mattress. I received a text message informing me that my delivery would arrive within 3 working days but I could use their tracking service on their website. Eventually, the status changed to being ready for delivery within a two hour window. I emailed and called continuously an hour after my delivery time for over 45 mins to eventually receive a message informing me that the depot was closed. The number that was given to me by a different depot for what was supposed to be head office did not work.
I have never written an online review before, however this Mickey Mouse courier company need exposing.

Great service and delivery by XDP. It was swift and on time as estimated by the morning text reminder. Liam from W. Yorkshire was the XDP courier who delivered my fitness equipment, he was an absolutely super guy who moved all the heavy parcels by himself. I tracked the delivery on the app and then as my gates were closed he called me when outside to open them. He was very professional and safely dropped my fitness equipment off and closed the gates on leaving. He rang after to explain that he had closed the gates. After seeing all these negative reviews I was pleasantly surprised to have my parcels delivered safely and on time. I emailed the company in the morning to ask about changing the delivery slot and they responded back on the same day kindly explaining that they unfortunately couldn’t due to the route. 10/10 Well Done for delivering XDP!”

Ordered furniture from Wayfair which had a delivery scheduled for Tuesday but never took place due a van break-down. Accepted this could be a genuine unfortunate one-off.
Was advised delivery had been rescheduled for Wednesday for the same time slot. Again, nothing arrived and no communication to advise.
Contacted Wayfair who spoke with XDP and was advised delivery would take place on the Thursday. Again - nothing and no comms from XDP (the tracking showed the item was still at their depot).
Friday came and went and despite Wayfair advising it would come; it didn’t. Again, tracking showed another scan confirming the item was in XDPs depot but no attempt to actually deliver said item.
Utterly appalling company - incredibly unprofessional and incompetent. As a result of my experience, I’ve been put off ordering anything through Wayfair.
The stress and hassle of having to have someone at home for a week on the off-chance XDP might deliver is completely unacceptable. I will go out of my way to avoid engaging with any company using XDP as their delivery agent.”
“Awful experience with this delivery company.
Gave me 2 delivery times and turned up for neither which was a huge inconvenience as we didn’t live in the house at the time, then delivered in the evening at a time that they were not to and left the delivery ‘in a safe place’. The delivery was a bed and they left it outside in the snow!!! The next day I went to the property to find it outside the front door and too wet and damaged to use.
Almost to ridiculous to be true but sadly it is.”

My promised date by the manufacturer was the 28/02/20 however on the 27/02/20 at 8-o-clock in the morning I received a message to say that it was for delivery that day. After re-scheduling my day I waited and waited NOTHING. at 4-30 received a message to say that the driver had been unable to deliver as no one was in, what a joke.I still have not been able to contact XDP on the number givem to re-deliver. Phone answering machine states unable to take a call and YOU CAN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE. How this outfit is still in business is beyond me.”

Fortunately the contract I entered into was with the furniture company who used these cowboys so I am not even going to contact XPD I will be in touch with the furniture company tomorrow. Trying to track the parcel on line is a joke! Why do companies use this delivery service given the reviews are so poor?!”
“I have ordered some thing and the supplier uses XDP for the courier service, I used my work place as the delivery address as some one is in all day, they have 3 times now delivered out side of office hours despite the supplier I bought from requesting office hours delivery, every time they attempt to deliver they send an email asking me to ring a number to arrange delivery, I must have rung this number 50 times over 3 days at various times of the day and no one answers, How do they expect to sort issues like this if they do not answer the phone, this is the worst courier service I have ever experienced”
“If I could leave 0 stars I would have. Terrible company said my parcel was coming twice, never and I mean NEVER turned up they don't answer emails. To call them is 7p per minute and when you get through they won't talk to you unless you are a supplier.”
“Initial notifications by email and text were great. However the online tracking was appalling. Downloaded the app and all it would tell me over the course of 4 hours was that the driver was on delivery 2 with another 32 before mine. Delivery estimate was 1648-1848. No sign. At 2050 there was a knock on our side door-no idea why the driver didn’t knock in the front door...! Checked online and the status had been changed to show it had been delivered at 1722. No time showing on the signature my husband had given. An afternoon/evening ruined. First and hopefully last time I will ever be using this company”
“Had a time sensitive parcel which was meant to be delivered to me by this company. I got an email the day before delivery saying that they had it. I was told by the sender that it should be with me the next day. The next day I emailed for an approximate ETA and was told it wasnt coming "due to flooding". I rang up as there was no flooding near us and was told that they had delivered that day to HR1 and HR4 but werent doing HR2 due to flooding. I explained that the vast majority of HR2 had no flooding and the customer service lady agreed as her son lives here too, but they still said no. They had blocked the whole postcode area instead of checking where there were problems!!!!! Stupid thing is that HR1 had large areas that were underwater but HR2 had no flooding that day! Also they had to drive through HR2 to get to HR1 and HR4! Our house is less than 2 minutes drive from the road that they came on to get to HR1 and HR4! Three days later I am still waiting for my parcel and they still cant tell me a time for delivery which is meant to be today! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.”
