“What went wrong is that the company I purchased wardrobes from decided to use XDP couriers who are absolutely useless. They tell you they have tried to deliver when they so obviously haven't,then they rearrange a second delivery and mess you about for hours and hours.Idid eventually speak to the delivery driver who suggested I might like to meet up and collect the wardrobe myself (I have a small saloon car) what a cheek after making me wait so long DO NOT USE XDP if you value your sanity.”
“I have never known a delivery company like this in my life. You cant arrange a delivery date they can just appear whenever suits them....I work full time! So what do they do turn up with no contact and harass my elderly neighbour 3 doors away to hold onto a solid oak chest of drawers for me - I was mortified...... then throw a torn piece of paper through my door stating "with number 31". To make matters worse the furniture is damaged and to get a replacement same delivery process - awful !! This was all ordered through a reputable company as well..!!! why they use this delivery service for their business I do not understand ..!!”
“I was waiting for a parcel to be delivered by XDP Brentwood and I had to wait for a looooong while. I have received my item after calling them several times per day every day for several days. They woun't let you know when they will arrive so you have to be home all day and even when I was home all day and left a note on the door, they said that they tried to deliver and I wasn't home without leaving a note or any sign that they attempted to deliver. They lied a couple of times about trying to deliver. Costumer service is the worst possible, and if they answer the phone they are useless.”
“Having gone to the Lutterworth depot late in the evening (December) to collect my 3 large packages the warehouse guys got me to open my car and in the process quickly loaded a badly damaged packed without my knowleage. Luckily on getting in the car I saw the damage and inmiediately took picktures showing time and location. On getting home it was clear the content were unuseable and on raising the complaint with the provider XDP denied everything and said I had signed the paperwork. Luckily I have pictorial evidence.”

“Xdp have made a mess of my Christmas delivery. From the start I had no correspondence regards my parcel, then to be called a week after my order by a delievery driver stating I’m not at my address to receive this parcel, worst part about that call was hearing they tired to deliver the parcel to my addres, I have a invoice as proof it was meant to be going to another address. The delievery driver advised me he’d bring the parcel back later that day.
I then received a phone call from the delivery driver stating the packaging for my parcel was now damaged and the contents could be seen to my horror they promised to have it sorted and delievered the following day to the correct address it was even updated on the tracking site I have proof of this too,
I have now received a email from the company I purchased my product from the to be advised my parcel has been sent back to them and will not be out before Christmas, this result means my little daughter will not receive her Christmas gift in time I am very upset with both the company I purchased from and XDP they should be shut down and not allowed to delivery parcels as they whole service has been nothing but Mis information and poor customer service.
I will also be reporting them the their governing body”

“I had a notification that my delivery would arrive on Monday. It didnt. I called on Tuesday and was told it would arrive on Wednesday. I explained I would be at work and gave a neighbours address and name. I got home to find they hadnt gone to the neighbour and just put a sorry we missed you card through the door.
I tried calling for 24 hours and constantly got an ansamachine.
After finally getting through I had no information than we will deliver tomorrow.
Interesting that following my contact with these people today they are attempting some damage control by responding to some of the bad reviews which they have previously ignored. These were not their yesterday and were all put there approx 4 hours ago.
I did eventually manage to get through to someone but they were extremely rude and unhelpful and then refused to send me the items as 'I had threatened the driver' which is untrue (i never met the driver. I never got my goods) so I have asked for my call records to prove this as this person has also told the supplier I said this so I have had to take legal advice about this defamation.
I was then told they would not supply me with the record of my call as I was not the Customer and that I had to request this from the person I bought the items from.
I then had a call from someone who claimed to be the Customer Services Manager who was incredibly rude and sarcastic and if she is that person she really needs some serious retraining as her tone was very unpleasant.
After reading the hundreds of dreadful experiences I have read today there seems to be alot of people who have had a similar experience.
And the worst part is the items were a Christmas present so back to the drawing board on that front.”
“Delivery split into two consignments, not delivered on time. Very rude customer service informed me they are 'dealing with 30 000 parcels and not all of them can be delivered on time'. Also, hung up on me during the phonecall. Appreciate mistakes happen, but there was no resolution offered and the person on the phone was simply rude.”
“I’ve never felt the need to leave a review in my life but this company is an absolute disgrace. Two parcels went out from Blind company for next day delivery on the 11th December. Plenty of time to be fitted for Xmas. On tracking the order, these packages have been scheduled for delivery and returned to depot 6 times. I’ve emailed 6 times and phoned 3 times, twice holding for 45 minutes. The last straw was holding again tonight for over an hour and this time I got through only to have s girl at the other end of the phone saying she couldn’t hear me before hanging up! Only left one star rating to allow review to be submitted, definitely a zero”

“So XDP think it’s very useful to deliver a bed in separate deliveries. With numberous days in between. They also don’t seem to to think it’s nescessary for you to know when there going to deliver your item. They will just dump them on your doorstep if your not in!
Delivered half of my bed on Saturday evening and it’s now Wednesday and the other half of my bed is still in a delivery depot!!
I have spoke to too separate people to get XDP to actually deliver the other half of the bed and nope still waiting.
Ridiculous just doesn’t quite cut it right now and annoyed just doesn’t quite sum up how I feel.”
“Also waiting for delivery. Received two notifications that it will be delivered but no show over the last two days. Local depot have had the consignment for over a week , but will not answer the phone , central number say call the local depot. Apparently you have to wait until the end of the day before they can check with the driver. Maybe someone should buy some mobile phones for Xmas. Don’t ask XDP to deliver them though!”
“Still waiting for my delivery nearly two weeks after it was sent from my supplier - it was on next day delivery. Its now almost Christmas, so expect the parcel is not going to arrive before then - if at all!! Very disappointing, but reading other reviews its par for the course. Do not use XDP is my opinion.”
“Xpd lost my sons Christmas present the tracking info is a load of s--t I've rang them 20 times they say they are struggling to locate my parcel ( more likely someone in the warehouse had pinched it) thanks xpd my son will be so exited on Christmas Day. Provide you with a tracking service, have had two windows for delivery now on consecutive days, still no parcel!!! Supposed to call you ahead of delivery, not a peep.
Call 0843 number which puts you into a holding pattern and then gets you to leave a message which of course is never returned (I suspect this is just a ploy to earn from their premium number),
Tracker gives you an email for the depot for your parcel. Emailed, and you guessed it, nothing.
Avoid them like the plague.”

This is the most unreliable delivery company I have ever be unfortunate to come across. I was waiting for a collection on Monday, waited in all day - no collection. Tuesday I get an email stating that my item will be collected between 1pm and 3pm - no collection. Wednesday morning I get an email stating I will get a collection between 1pm and 3pm - no collection. At this point I am trying to contact customer services - answer machine, leave a message and we will contact you - guess what - I didn't get anyone contact me. In total I must have left over 10 messages and still no-one has ever come back to me. I did manage to find a local branch and when looking at the tracking record they agreed it was terrible and said they would look into it and get back to me - didn't get back to me... On Thursday morning I again get an email, collection will be made between 1pm and 3pm, the tracking record then showed it had been collected at 9.21am - it hadn't!!! I again leave umpteen messages at customer services - no-one got back to me, but on one occasion somebody (Richard) did answer the phone, he said it was terrible and it was because the computer kept glitching me out!!! He promised he would look into it and call me the following morning (Friday) he did at 10.20 and stated my item would be collected between 3.17 and 5.17pm - guess what - still no collection. I have tried and tried to call customer services again, and left many messages, but no-one has come back to me. Well I have now waited in the whole week waiting for this collection and still the item has not been collected. I must have wasted at least 5 hours this week, emailing and trying to call this company and still haven't achieved the simple task of collecting this huge item which is taking up all the free space in my living room. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU REQUIRE HIGH STRESS LEVELS, AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE”
“Appalling company. Still waiting for my item which was sent out for delivery nearly three weeks ago! As far as I know they haven't even attempted delivery as no calling cards have ever been left! After trying to contact XDP several times without success (no-one answers the phone!) I followed up with the retailer I purchased the item from, it was showing on their system the item was on the van and it was going to be delivered at 4:30pm that day...I waited and waited....nothing!!! So two weeks on I'm still waiting! I have now had to agree with the retailer (my suggestion) that XDP send my item back to their warehouse so it can be redelivered by another courier...three days on and XDP still haven't returned to the warehouse! This lot are a complete shower...AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! I will never again buy from a retailer that use these clowns.”
