“In all fairness, when things go well it is what is expected and you dont get a lot of customers singing praises - however if things go wrong, which sometimes they do, then people are more likely to write a bad review - its frustration worming its way out. Completely understandable but I dont think it gives a true representation of the XDP Couriers as a whole.
We have been using these as our main delivery system (along with out own drivers) for over 2 years now - there HAVE been issues of course, with the amount we send out and the amount of consignments working there way through XDP theres bound to be, but nothing more than we've had using other companies - one dynamite! company ran over one of our expensive beds, and then STILL delivered to it the customer....like seriously....!
There are some 'bad' depots - I find certain ones tend to give me the issues time and again but on the other side our collection depot (Bradford - you guys rock!) are fab - might take a couple of calls to get through but when you do, helpful is an understatement.
Dont be put off by businesses using these guys - until you run a furniture company yourself you have no idea how hard it is to get reliable and responsible delivery options which dont end up costing us (read: customers) a small fortune and to their credit, over the at the moment, 2897 deliveries we've booked with these guys only a small percentage have ever had an issue....so XDP well done, we're happy(ish) bunnies! ;)”
“shockingly poor service. Has now given ETAs on two separate days and just not turned up at all! We have waited in on both days with no updates or reasons. Impossible to get through to anyone and no help at all. Website is shabby and I expect the management is too.”
“Extremely unsatisfied is an understatement. These packages should have been on their way back two weeks ago. Every single task that has been given to this company has been a pain. They delivered a shipment despite it being marked as return to sender, failed to post a card to a failed collection attempt without ringing my bell or any others, and took a photo from inside their vehicle that couldn't even identify my property as a flat, and today they failed to appear at all, failed to call the driver and get back to me, failed to answer the phone and they closed an hour early.
Now waiting for tomorrow to find out what happened and set up a new collection.
The only reason they get two stars is because the people I've been in contact with have been polite and, for the most part, helpful.”
“Worst delivery company I have ever come across. I ordered on 18 June. It was despatched to XDP for delivery on 19 June. It sat in their depot from then until I complained to Happy Beds on 6 July. They must have chased because I got an immediate call from XDP promising delivery the next day. Needless to say we waited in all day and nothing. No delivery, no phone call, no text, nothing. Now they are uncontactable by phone and the delivery has even vanished from their tracking system. Unbelievable. Avoid at all costs.”
“Really bad website. One is unable to track the delivery. Time frame given not met by hours and hours. When call to check, worst customer experience ever. The option given don't work. When I finally managed to talk to someone, the person was very unprofessional and rude. No help nor answer at all about for being advice to keep waiting for my item.”

“I have just the consignment (27/06/2017), they were delivered at 6.00pm some 4hrs+ later than your delivery slot (quoted at 11.43am to 1.43pm). Not very impressive by todays standards, further more the box and items were damaged. I will be complaining to Wayfair”
“Firstly tracking system was incorrect. Then they said that goods had broken open and they had returned them asking for replacement, however, supplier said item was reported missing. Then goods were delivered when I was out, which was ok but the packaging was damaged and they had partly torn off the delivery address, which turned out to be a different size for someone else! Then return next day to collect but scruffiest individual came. Van not signwritten, no ID or paperwork asking for wrong mattress, but didn't have my order. Will never purchase again if company are using XPD.”

The worst delivery company I have ever dealt with. Lady in 'sales' incredibly rude and unhelpful. Funny how the sales line gets answered within 2 seconds but you hold for 30min + to get through to Customer Service!!

“Ordered 10 items on 13/06/17 XDP received them 14/06/17 1 item turned up on the 17/06/17 then on the 19/06/17 1 more item turned up with the box open and the rest of the 8 items missing. I am still waiting for the rest of the items. This is a cowboy outfit and should be shut down”
“Terrible! Said it was collected from seller and more info would be available once it arrived at depot. I heard nothing until a text the next morning to say delivery between 3:30-5:30. 5:40 came my wife called them and before she could give our postcode, the guy said the driver was delayed by an hour and hung up. Nothing arrived. I knew it was just palming it off until they finished for the day. Phoned at 6:30...obviously the officd closed.
I knew I was in for terrible service as soon as I search for reviews online for this delivery company.
Must be said, Fortywinks need to have a better delivery partner. Next day delivery should mean next day! I would have happily paid extra to know it was being delivered by DPD!!!”
“If I could rate this company lower than 1 star I would . Bad communication, no response to emails,no delivery , confusing terms used on their online delivery system and a premium rate telephone line service that they never answer anyway .
If you are a company thinking about using them then don't as your customer service will go from 5 star to 1 with no fault of your own .
If you take everything that a trusted delivery company should be and do the opposite then that is XDP .”

“2 hour delivery window given which I raced around to be back for.
No delivery arrived, after contacting them I was told they could not find my address 2hours earlier than time given. My guess is that he turned up early realised no one was in so said cba and went! Next day 2hour delivery given, rang Becky in the office to find out it would be 2hours early than stated again! Told driver would ring me with an eta but guess what no joy!! Still waiting useless company!”
