Further to my review earlier today.Hope no one held their breath.Surprise,surprise.Arranged for someone to be available at my home during time slot.XDP did NOT attend AGAIN.Where do we go from here?No one to talk to at Company.World Stores will not provide refund until item is returned by courier.Disgraceful state of affairs all round.Best that members of the public take this as further examples of incompetence by both companies with no respect or consideration for customers.

Worst delivery company in the UK. I have been waiting 2 days for collection of my damaged chest of drawers and both days the track said carded. I have stayed in both days, tried to contact them but can't get hold of anybody. Worldstores haven't been very helpful either. DO NOT BUY FROM WORLDSTORES AND ASK COMPANIES WHO THEY USE FOR DELIVERY!

Absolutely dreadful. Specifically paid for a delivery date and item has been sat at their collection point all day. Emailed to enquire about the item and was told it will not be delivered until tomorrow. Really disappointed due to requesting leave from work and have now wasted a day where my valuable annual leave could have been spent with my family instead. Awful communication from the company. Use this company as a last resort!

Dreadful service, dreadful communication system. One word would describe the situation.Useless.Package due to be collected for return to supplier(World Stores).Three identical e.mails received from XDP reminding me that collection would take place with the usual three hour time slot and for someone to be available on Wednesday 27th May.Time slot would be advised during morning of delivery by e.mail.Wrong.Didn't happen.Tried constantly to speak to someone at XDP.Found myself in an automated telephone system which repeated the same selection of options and answers required FOUR times and still did not get the opportunity to speak to someone. No further forward.Spoke to supplier at World Stores.Staff very apologetic and confirmed they would find out what was happening and telephone me with result.Didn't happen.Tried again by e.mail this time to get a response from XDP.Didn't happen.Again spoke to supplier who advised me XDP would collect item the following day Thursday.Suggested I had an urgent medical appointment and would require a morning collection.Supplier would attempt to arrange.Guess what? XDP have now advised me a collection would be made between 3.46pm and 6.46pm.Need I say more.Watch this space but don't hold your breath.

World stores use this courier co. I eventually cancelled the order and got a refund, the service was so bad. Difficult to get hold of anyone and there seems to be a total disconnect between world stores who give the customer a delivery date and the courier who thinks he can deliver it when it suits him (I was told he would come late on a Sunday night when roads quiet!)... My advice would be to avoid this courier and any company that uses them

Cannot get through to the company at all. Paid £50 delivery with a company who said My items wood b delivered the next day by XPD, however that was a lie. Managed to speak to them once and they said the pallets hadnt been scanned. Told I wood definately get them on the Saturday but Nope hasn't happened, still can't get through to customer services. This courier company is a complete joke.

Ordered 2 packages. 3 times they claim to have carded me but I was in all 3 times and nobody came. Each alleged delivery date was at least a week apart. One package finally arrived after a month but had already been opened. Was in plastic packaging and there is no way this wasn't intentional. No sign of the second package at all and I'm starting to lose all hope that it will ever come. As everyone else has said, absolutely do not use.

Goods were delivered outside the slot and when asked by my elderly mother to help her lift a 18kg parcel inside the house, the driver replied with 'What is your surname', then turned his back and walked off ignoring her request. I have emailed and left voice messages with the company, but no reply. I will be passing my feedback however to the company that uses them. Poor and uncaring service.

I'll keep this short. If XDP are the delivery service that a company you are buying from is intending to use then do not order or insist on another delivery service.

My goods were delivered within the 3 hour time slot given to me on the tracking system, and after reading other reviews of xdp I was a little concerned to say the least. However, the delivery driver was so obnoxiously rude that I have to give a very poor rating. He seemed disappointed that I was in, I said well I looked at the tracking system so have taken time off work especially, he said 'oh you dont want to take any notice of the tracking system' then he asked me if I knew how heavy my sofa bed was I said of course not, he said it was massive he couldnt take it off the lorry. I said should it be a two man team then and he said noone wants to pay the extra for a two man delivery. At this point I was really getting fed up with his rudeness so I said well all I did was order a sofa bed, I didnt choose you as a delivery courier. He then proceded to try and get the package out of the lorry and managed to rip the strapping and some of the cardboard in the process. I then helped him to slide the package through my front door and he told me this was useless as the sofa bed would shrink with all the friction on the floor. For goodness sake, I was in to receive the delivery, the tracking system worked, I helped him, why keep making me feel as if I was totally in the wrong? He was hardly representing your company very loyally either. And he then said 'you know if you weren't in I would have had to just leave it at your front door'. So negative, unpleasant and needlessly aggressive. I wouldn't recommend this company just because of the aggro I got from the driver.

Got a note through my door to say they tried to deliver my package but couldn't so I rang the number on the card so rearrange for another day. Was told on the phone that it had been marked down to be redelivered on the same day that I was ringing on and I told them that there would be no one home to accept. Person on the phone accepted that and said no problem, we'll deliver on the day you want. Get home to find another card that says 'behind gate'. A gate that allows access to several people, is 6ft high and the package was heavy, breakable and expensive. And of course when I get to my package that has just been thrown over the gate onto a concrete floor, i find its well and truely smashed. This company is even worse than Hermes!

Ordered a Shower Door which was due to be delivered yesterday. Paid extra for this service. Needless to say it didn't turn up. It did, however, turn up today. The driver having waved over the top of the fence at the rear of my property, shouted that he had a delivery for me and was going to leave it here.....at the back of my house...on a public footpath...in a fairly busy cul de sac. I asked him through the fence to kindly bring it round the front as it was heavy and I had no way of bringing it round. He refused so I told him to wait, got my shoes on and ran round the back. He still refused to bring it round, a walk of about 1 minute. Stating he hadn't got time. I was tempted to mention the fact that he must have time as he'd had an extra day.......Still refusing to bring it round to the front, arguing that he'd been told to leave it at the back of the property (not I hasten to add on the delivery note or anything he could show me) I'm not sure why he would have been told to do that as they wouldn't have known that there was a road at the back of my house. I was standing there trying to think what I was going to do with a door I couldn't lift. Had visions of standing outside waiting on the off chance of someone I know passing by who'd be able to bring it round for me! At this point, fortunately, my partner drove up and accepted the delivery (he's a bit stronger than me, and able to carry said door) . Just thought I'd mention the state of the delivery van, which I noticed as I walked off. It had Argyle and Scottish Deliveries on the side, which had been partially ripped off. The mirror was broken and taped up. The front of the van was smashed up.. etc etc etc. We signed the delivery as "delivered damaged" due to the state of the packaging. When I order anything in future I will remember to ask who the delivery company is. Will not order from anywhere that uses XDP again. Shoddy service, rude drivers, no replies to emails. Avoid at all costs.

XPD decided to repackage my trampoline and delivery half of it. All I have are the springs, Ring padding and Legs. Still waiting for the Posts, Mesh and bed. It has now gone past the delivery date which was a specifically requested day which I paid extra for and am still waiting for them to finally deliver the rest of the trampoline.

This has to be the worst delivery company in the country. I ordered two sofas from World Stores in February and, to date, I have still not received them. The first set of sofas were due to arrive on the 24th March. A pre-alert was sent out saying that I would be contacted within two to three days to arrange a delivery date. The following morning the sofas arrived unannounced and, as no-one was there to accept them, (small issue of having to work for a living) they were taken away. No card was left so I was in constant contact with World Stores for days. I now have them on speed dial since XPD do not or cannot answer telephone calls and their emails don't work. The one card that was left at the house (although they claim to have left several) had a mobile number which provided a direct link to Orange voicemail. I have spoken many times to the machine but never to a human. After spending a whole two weeks in the house over Easter whilst the rest of the family went out and about enjoying the holiday, my frustration levels went through the roof. Apparently, XPD had "lost" both of my sofas. Then, success. A driver rang me apologising for not sending me notification of delivery that day. He thought his supervisor would have done it for him. My elation at being able to return the deck chairs to the shed overcame everything else. Then came the news - the driver said that it wasn't worth bringing either of the sofas to the house because they'd been so badly damaged that they were unusable. He filed a report on the Friday morning and on the Monday World Stores ordered two new sofas but they wouldn't be in stock until the end of April. After a month the new sofas were in and dispatched with - XPD!!! Deja vu - another pre-alert - another missed delivery - renewed friendship with World Store Customer Services - agreed delivery date for last Tuesday - day off work - no delivery - want to murder someone - sofas delivered unannounced last Wednesday - sofas delivered yesterday (allegedly) although it didn't appear as though anyone had been anywhere near the property. Today there is a message posted saying that the sofas are unwanted. I'm assuming that it must be my dog who has made that decision since he was the only living being here. Tomorrow I will contact World Stores again and tell them exactly what I think of the incompetent, irresponsible and infuriating clowns that pass for a delivery company. Siege mentality has set in. I want the sofas. Would I recommend XPD to anyone? Not a chance!

XPD - There's not enough words to express the shocking service from this company and as of yet have struggled to find anything but negative reviews. They called me to say that they had my delivery of rattan garden furniture and would I accept on that day. I of course said yes as my items had already been delayed twice before. I waited all day but nothing! When I chased at 4.50pm that's when I was given the run around for 2 days! I was told it hadn't been loaded and that I would receive my delivery the following day. I was also promised 2 phone calls in the meantime but never received those calls back. In fact I was promised many more times over a period of 48 hours of call backs but never received any. It was left to me to chase them all the time. Cutting a long story short they lost my furniture! I called customer service to complain but Gail (supposedly customer service manager) had the most shocking attitude, I ended up terminating my call as her attitude was worse than shocking and she was more or less laughing at me in between telling me that customer reviews counted for nothing (after I told her that I couldn't find one gd review on this company) the transport manager also had told me the same the day before! Both hers and the transport managers answer to the loss of my furniture was 'oh well we'll just call Wayfair (who I had ordered my furniture from) to get them to despatch another'!!!! I had already waited a month after paying to get this first set! My husband called into xpd in Northampton on the way back from London the following day after they admitted losing my goods. He arrived at the depot only to find that the transport manager I had been speaking with wasn't there and they apparently didn't know him! After a long argument he was escorted off the premises by 2 bouncer looking guys and threatened. My husband rang the mobile number of the transport guy Frank and got his address. He was in a small back street unit a couple of miles away and was on his front with with his employees waiting. They also revealed that they had had a call from the guys at xpd depot down the road to warn him he'd been there. So much for the xpd guys not knowing who this Frank was!!!! Very dodgy company. I would never use them again if they were the last couriers on this earth!!

A total waste of space- staff could not give a toss when they eventually do answer a phone. Delivery dates are a joke no reason for not completing the delivery - just will try again another day- Not even the next day !!!! I have now told our purchase department that if XDP are the delivery company cancel the order and tell the supplier why. Non delivery is breach of contract if a delivery window has been agreed thus there is a legal responsibility on both the supplier and THEIR delivery agent to comply if they don't cancel the order and never use the supplier again. This is the only way these cowboy delivery agents will ever learn anything is by loosing their business . Dr PB -cambridge

I ordered a new boiler from a company in Manchester. Their couriers (XDP) phoned up on Tuesday to say would someone be in on Wed so they could deliver it. My wife had plans but cancelled them so as to be in fro the delivery. Wed came, nothing all day , then i came home from work and looked on their tracking site , est time of delivery was 2.16-516pm , as it was half five i left itin case they had had a bad day . By 7 pm i was annoyed that nothing had come and checked the website again, Allegedly they had tried to deliver the boilert and had 'Carded ' us. No card was found and no attempt was ever made to deliver it. I emailed the company i bought the boiler from and expressed my annoyuance of the no show and demanded to know what was happening. They phoned my wife up and said, Sorry our couriers do that sometimes , and it was agreed to be delivered yesterday. As my wife was going out for a few hours it was agreed that the boiler could be left with a neighbour . My wife was having a cup of tea and heard the letterbox go , upon investigation it was a card from XDP saying it was next door. She opened the door and asked if he could bring the boiler to us as we were clearly in and he made no attempt to deliver it to our house. To this he replied he was told we would ot be in !!. when asked again to move it she received a lot of mumbling and grumbling. The boiler was moved and put into our porch across the door so we could not shut it. My wife asked him to move it over so the door could be shut, More mumbling and grumbling. When she said to him if it had been delivered yesterday when it supposed to then there would not have been a problem then she recieved one parting shot from the ignorant driver and was told to F*** Off !!!!! I couldnt believe how arrogant and unpleasant he had been. Will never order anything from a company who use XDP ever again. The worst courier company i have ever had the mispleasure to run across in my life .

Would Never Use this company again Liars - XDP As with most people here - i would rather give them Zero Stars (but that option is not available) - Firstly, like many other of the reviewers I received the email saying Carded on the delivery date. Lucky for me I have CCTV recorded 24hrs and also live down a private road, where every vehicle that drives down is recorded on the CCTV. Email to company to ask them what was going on? As with other customers, the email was never answered. I then got the local despatch depot (by the sounds of it, a lock up in Wymondham, Norfolk) let the phone ring for 1 hour on speaker phone but never answered. Then contacted the company i had ordered goods from to complain - was told they would chase it up and call me back - true to their word they called back and said they had been unable to get in touch with Wymondham Depot, but had contacted the manager at Head office of XDP and had text and emailed him asking for goods to be delivered the next day. The Booking system at Wymondham is obviously someones personal computer as it gets updated with generic messages at about 0645hrs in the morning and 1930hrs at night and told me nothing new except they would try and deliver today. at about 1230hrs a white unmarked van arrived and a scruffy unshaved elderly man shouted my name. I said "yes" and then he messed around in the back of the van for a while, probably hoping i would come out and help carry the heavy box (sorry mate, thats what you get paid for). he finally came to my door with the box carrying it on his own (the box was clearly marked "Two persons must carry this box at all times" (breach of health and safety by the company) he then said to me "how do i get out of here?" This aroused my suspicions as to if he was the phantom card deliverer? He then asked me to sign, I told him that the company had a strict policy in the event of damage to the packaging, the box in fact was bashed and scraped in several places, with a few puncture marks. I told the man that I wished to sign for it with "Damaged Box" as per the company instructions (to protect myself in case the goods were damaged) he kept saying "Just sign for it unchecked" - i informed him that if i signed for it "Unchecked" I would sign away my rights if the goods were damaged and that this was clearly explained by the company email that i received. He still kept saying "Just sign Unchecked" I wrote right across the signature box "DAMAGED BOX" and returned it to him. Now to find out what this company was all about. I asked him if he had called yesterday and left a card? He replied "Yes i called Yesterday" I pointed to my CCTV camera and said to him "That is a CCTV recording Camera, I have checked yesterdays footage and you Never came down my road & also there was someone in all day" Would you like to try again, did you try to deliver to my house yesterday. At this the man scuttled off up my path towards his van at great speed muttering "I dont Know, I dont Know, I dont Know" - Obviously this man had the audacity to come to my door and Lie to my face and basically when caught out ran away like the lying rat that he was. I did manage to shout after him that i would Never be buying from a company that Used XDP as the delivery company ever again. He just got in his vehicle and sped off. On the bright side after photographing the damaged box for evidence (should i need it) the goods were undamaged for their experience with XDP. So after waiting in for 3 days solid for the delivery wasting my time - i have learnt from this never to use a company that wants to deliver by XPD. And the Driver? Well he has learnt that if you are going to lie about attempts to deliver a parcel, Make sure that you are not being watched and recorded by CCTV (PS My premises is clearly marked as CCTV recording Equipt in use signs) OR Better still DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY AND STOP TREATING CUSTOMERS LIKE IDIOTS - Liars always get found out in the end. Customer Service Rating MINUS 100 - XDP should perhaps not rely on cheapskate franchise cowboys as their company name is just being dragged into the mud with shoddy workers and any reputation that they have shredded by these people. ?
