“I was taking a cab tonight and the driver that I took let me know that one of the dispatch people name Jamie was telling everyone that works for the cab company that I am a drug dealer and that one of my friends comes to my home and picks up drugs. This is very concerning to me as I am a mother and don't need people talking this kind of nonsense about me or my friends because he and the company are mad at them. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE USING THEIR SERVICES AGAIN. And there is no point in calling the owner to complian as this dispatcher is so far up his rear that he will not do anything. This company needs to hire better people that won't run the company into the ground.”

“Abbey taxi is the worst taxi service on earth. They are always late and when I complained about the lateness, the lady who sends taxis to different locations cut the call on me saying she will never send taxi to my area to ever pick me again. Such rudeness and unproffessionalism. I am shocked at their attitude, they probably believe they do not have competitors. No apology whatsoever was rendered for their constant lateness. “Abbey taxis-shocking discriminatory service-or lack of a service.App went round and round for an hour and 40 mins-driver cancelled.Reason-because my son had a dog and it was wet and there were no drivers who round take them.Abbey-you have had our service for 35 plus years but no longer.At least have the decency to let my son know so he can make other plans.God forbid your pet needs to get to a vet in an emergency as Abbey will not transport you.You have lost a faithful customer.Disgraceful service..”

“Taxi booked to take us to a wedding a short distance from where we were staying. No sign of taxi 10 minutes after expected time. Called operator who said she couldn’t call to let us know there was a delay as well as answer the phones. Ended up having to drive ourselves to the wedding in order that we were not late for the ceremony. Very disappointed and at no point did we receive an apology. Would recommend NOT using this taxi service.”
“I wrote review last night, they keep taking off. I was kicked out of taxi by driver half 1 in the morning 2 miles away from my home because I'm Jewish. I'm going to keep posting untill this review will stay for others to see. When I called office to tell manager he basically said deal with it. Horrible experience”

“The company became absolutely useless in the past few months. Booked a taxi for specific time in advance and the taxi turned up 30 minutes late and at times the waiting time is 2 hours as they have not got car available at all. Some of the staff who are organising the taxi are VERY RUDE and not even able to send the taxi to the correct place as driver went to wrong adress a few times because they got wrong details. Had to walk home few times in a rain, wind with big shopping bags and with a 6 years old. Also beeing late from appointment becausw of the service.Absolutely disgusted about the company. Should be closed down as they are not able to cover what is needed.... and they says on their website they are the most professional and reliable company with excellent advance booking 🤣🤣🤣🤣. It is a joke to be honest. Thanks for them to encourage and motivate me to do my own licence.”
“I rang for a taxi from a pretty central part of Bath. It took 10 minutes until my call was answered and a taxi still hadn’t been dispatched after nearly an hour of waiting so had to cancel. I had used them a year or so ago and was fine but every time I’ve tried to use them recently the waiting time is ridiculous.”

“I am anaemic and suffer circulation problems so HAVE to use taxi`s as I am barely able to walk 100 yds at a time. Today I walked into the rank in foregate st and asked for a taxi home. I waited at the pick up point, and waited... and waited... 45 minutes later a driver pulls up. - By now there`s someone else behind me. He points at them and says "I`m here for them", he also asked me how long I`d been there & I told him. "tell them in the office" he said, I looked to my left and theres another taxi behind so I said , "it`s ok I`ll jump in his". - he drives off. - The next car pulls up (car 2712) and the driver immediately says "what were you arguing with him about (very agressively) "Nothing - and I explained what was said. "You sure?" he says ? "yes, ask him" I replied. he them points behind me and says "I`m not taking you, I`ll take them" and refused to pick me up. I then (understandably upset), had to walk back to Foregate st to take a black cab. As it was a hot day I was near collapse and barely managed to get there. I will never use Abbey again, I advise everyone else to give them a wide berth. If the surly arrogant TWAT of a driver I encountered is representative of their drivers, you will regret it.
I was very polite to this driver but his nasty actions very nearly cost me an ambulance trip.”
