They have failed to delivery my item and have sent it to the wrong address, they are refusing to send it to the correct address unless I pay for the delivery otherwise they will cancel my order, charge me £24 delivery fee plus 25% restocking fee. I have purchased from Adexa previously and the address they have tried to deliver to has always been a correspondence address but for some unknown reason they have tried to deliver to this address and say I told them to. Why on earth would I ask them to deliver to an address at the other end of the Country is beyond me.

Order 1443178 was placed and paid for on 7th March 2025. This order was for a commercial fridge unit and a HZB12A ice maker. What I received was the fridge unit and a BL-1088 mini fridge. I raised the issue on 14th March and received an apology from the Customer Care desk together with a request for photos of the incorrectly received unit. These I sent on 15th March. After that, things went wrong. I had to chase multiple times for an update. Finally on 21st March I was instructed to prepare the mini fridge for return on a pallet. For this I had to source a fresh pallet, which I find unreasonable for a small 2Kg item. However, I did this. Since 26th March, I have sent a further six emails asking for progress on a collection date and the delivery of my ice maker. I haven't received any response. The lack of customer care and insisting on return of an incorrect item before despatching what was paid for is awful.

I bought two items in October 2024, and one had broken by the 6th of December. I had been waiting over 4 months for a part and or a manager to contact me. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER again. If I could offer this zero stars, I would. Number 1365936

I am incredibly disappointed with my experience with Adexa. Despite reporting a fault with the Adexa EMP500SDF during the cooling-off period, they refused to honor their commitment, hiding behind the fine print in their contract. Instead of taking responsibility for supplying a faulty product, they insisted that I spend hundreds of dollars on an engineer's report to prove the product's defectiveness. This approach is not only frustrating but also unfair to consumers. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this company to avoid similar issues.

Will not repair an item if it arrives faulty so please bear this in mind. Might get lucky or might be stuck with an £830 hotcupboard that won’t heat.

I ordered ten sets of beer hall tables with benches (30 pieces in total) for our back garden. We love to host large groups and these looked perfect. They were delivered a couple of weeks after placing the order. My wife and I were not at home so my eleven year old answered the door and the delivery company asked to unload the packages. Not knowing what to do and feeling pressured to say yes since the company was in a hurry, he agreed and they deposited the packages under an atrium, had him sign, and were on their merry way. That weekend, I unpacked everything (which took me two hours to do) and discovered that 4 out of 10 tables were severely damaged, and that a number of the benches' fasteners were twisted and non-functional. The packaging had been intact so I was surprised to see this much damage. I contacted Adexa and after three emails heard back. They referred me to their T&C's and said that with pallet delivery items the customer has to inspect everything carefully upon delivery, and since I hadn't refused delivery the problem was now mine and that they were "unable to assist further in this matter." I explained that it is an unreasonable expectation for me to unpack that many very bulky items upon delivery and that in addition my son had been pressured to accept and sign for the items, and that as a minor he cannot accept responsibility for delivery, so the liability was still theirs. They responded that all they could offer me was a store coupon for £70 or a £60 refund (which is around 2% of what I paid). Or they could take back the items and I'd incur various fees totaling about 1/3 of what I'd paid. Obviously I declined and am now pursuing legal action, but regardless, I was appalled at their lack of customer service. If they'd offered a decent discount (say, reimbursed me for a couple of the sets) we'd probably have worked something out and they wouldn't have to deal with all that is coming their way, but this "it's not our problem" posture was shocking and suggests a company culture in which customer satisfaction let alone loyalty is virtually irrelevant. If you're delivered an intact product I'm sure Adexa is fine, but beware if you need customer service...

Absolutely shocking after sales. After spending 10s of thousands of pounds with them over the years, solely down to the fact they are cheap, we will never ever use them again. We bought a large display fridge that was working for less than 48 hours and the information required in oder to source the parts was like nothing I've ever experienced. Don't waste your money here.

I don't think this company cares about what people think. I've provided video proof the item was unloaded from the DPD van by DPD damaged. Offering £30 credit for an item that cost £228. Can't use the item as it's too badly damaged. Still no joy which is disgraceful. How are they allowed to operate?

Bought a shelving unit from Adexa but parts were missing from the box. After contacting Adexa explaining this and sending pictures I was told that if I wanted those parts I needed to search other sites with the product code and buy them. Utterly ridiculous, shameful and disgusting. According to Adexa, should you buy something you are only entitled to a percentage of it. Buy a car, no wheels on it, your problem. Buy a house, no windows, your problem. Adexa company slogan : “You buy, we send something or part of something. That’s your problem”.

Everything is damaged We purchased almost £10K worth of items from this company and almost everything is damaged. Read their Policy on inspecting the product before unloading it. Once you unload from the delivery truck it is your problem. They will charge you to return it. We have cardboard boxes without a mark on them. Unbox the item and the damage on the product was like they had been hit with a forklift or dropped from a height. The service is appalling and I would strongly recommend not buying a thing from them.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY I really wish I had seen all the negative reviews about Adexa Direct before making my purchase. It seems there’s even a Facebook group called "Adexa Direct Catering Equipment - Beware" dedicated to sharing stories about their poor service and products. I ordered a back bar cooler, and when it arrived, it had a completely different controller than what was advertised and what was included in the product instructions. Despite my best efforts, I haven’t been able to figure out how to use the new controller. I've been in constant email correspondence with Megan, the sales advisor, for months now with no progress. I’ve asked for help, sent videos showing my attempts to set up the cooler, and still haven’t received a clear solution. It’s become obvious that the company has no understanding of how this new controller works either. At one point, I was told they might arrange a return, but if their engineers determine the cooler isn’t faulty, I’d be charged to have it sent back. I’ve explained repeatedly that I can’t even confirm if the cooler is faulty because I don’t know how to use the controller — it’s completely different from what was advertised and from the instructions provided. And to make matters worse, they don’t seem to have any knowledge of how to use the new controller either. Now, they’re telling me I need to pay for an engineer’s report to determine if the cooler is faulty, and provided a list of criteria the report must cover. Essentially, they want me to pay more money just to figure out if the cooler is defective. All I’m asking for is clear instructions on how to use the controller, yet I’ve been met with vague responses like "press it twice," or "press it again." It’s clear they have no clue how to use the controller themselves and I have sent videos of me trying to use it Megan’s emails have been frustratingly unhelpful, and she often states, “I’m not trying to be difficult,” but that’s exactly how it feels. After months of emails, I’ve gotten nowhere. They’ve sent me a cooler with an unfamiliar controller, no one knows how to use it, and they’ve failed to resolve the issue. I’m now considering legal action to address the situation.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying from them. Since hey advertise everywhere I thought they were genuine trades people. found out now they're scammers. Bought a dishwasher and a glasswasher from them. Now I am out of pocket by £2k. The quality is the worst I could have imagined even for a tenner let alone Paying £1k a piece. The glasswasher doesn't even fill with water they asked for a qualified installation engineer's headed letter report when the instructions does not state engineer installation is needed. Save your cash and do not ever order from them and if they let you down take them to court I certainly will.

1 star too many for a company like this. Unfortunately I had to find out the difficult way how. Firstly ordered a product that came damaged, talked to customer service who then said that they need to investigate. I sent pictures and a video as a proof apparently not good enough. Then when looking into options found a better product online and said I need to return this one as I found the better one, they said they can get it back as they need to finish investigation. Then asked to speak to supervisor which answer was they may or may not call back later.

Hilariously I was thinking a one star review would be problematic for these sharks. Not worth going into much it would seem, since they apparently can't organise a P in a Brewery - but what I will say is they sold us an ice machine that makes slabs of ice that look like they could be cubes if they were made better. They claimed because there was a picture in the listing of someone holding a slab of ice that we should have known. Much like a printer seller arguing that a huge blob of ink on a page was "what it does" - or a seller of "sliced bread" handing over a full loaf. It does need to do the one thing you advertise, you big load of pirates! Anyway - we're £400 down and 12 emails to what might as well be a bot, to achieve nothing but "it's supposed to make massive slabs". Try putting one of those in your G&T.
