Do not buy this insurance. My claim was denied. I got it for a hotel room. Canceled it the following week and after sending all the paperwork they still denied the claim. They should not be given as an options on Expedia. total scam

Got car rental insurance when book flight via Expedia, and got car crash in San Jose CA. Call Expedia, was told to file claim at AIG web. AIG does not make it easy. Called AIG, got somebody from India, it's very hard to understand the English, and the agent was rude. She does not provide any help at all. I didn't now Expedia outsource the insurance to AIG. Neither Expedia or AIG provide help, terrible terrible customer service. Never buy any insurance via Expedia, or book any flight, rental from Expedia. It's scam.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I purchased trip insurance with an Expedia hotel reservation. AIG charged my credit card 3 times the quoted price for it. I have been fighting it and asking for a refund ever since (one month now). AIG blames Expedia, Expedia blames AIG. Stay away from both!!!

The customer service is awful and AIG tries to force you pay a higher premium than quoted by giving you lame excuses. I accepted another policy with a reputable company for $5 less per month with the same amount of IUL insurance. Stay away from them, I've spoken to two unprofessional agents with no knowledge of an IUL.

Do not ever purchase any insurance with these people they are a rip off and they are a crook. I purchased insurance for flight and then when I tried to cancel and file a claim for that flight. I was told that the claim was denied because I was canceling it for my flying companion. I would never ever purchase any kind of insurance through this company y’all rip off and I’m going to dispute my charges with my bank. Y’all must be really needed $15 rip off

I purchased their insurance protection via Expedia. A scamming rental car called Zezgo accused me with existing dents on their rental car, and charged me $2,000. I contacted AIG, but they didn't help. Wasted money for nothing. I shouldn't have purchased insurance protection.

I purchased an AIG policy when renting a van through Enterprise. I bumped the back bumper of the van which resulted in a crack. Apparently this crack impacted the back-up camera. Total charge $2487.29. I had to harange Enterprise to finally get repair pricing. Then it took months and MANY calls and emails to AIG before they finally processed the claim. Now they indicate they'll only cover $1912.48. They charge an 'ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $150' (isn't that part of the premium I paid), they won't cover the $174.31 for diminution of value of the car, and they charge a $250 deductible. So I'm out $574.81. What a rip off!!!!!!! They don't respond, they don't follow through on the claim, they make it as hard as possible to get this claim resolved and then they leave me responsible for an unfair amount of the cost. I won't be renting from Enterprise nor using AIG insurance EVER again.

I am extremely disappointed with AIG Travel regarding my recent experience with their travel insurance policy. I purchased a policy for my trip, believing I was covered in case of unexpected events. Unfortunately, when I had to cancel my trip due to unforeseen circumstances, AIG travel refused to provide a refund. Despite providing all necessary documentation and meeting the criteria outlined in the policy, my claim was denied without a satisfactory explanation. The customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, making the entire process frustrating and time-consuming. I trusted AIG travel to support me during an unexpected situation, but they failed to deliver on their promises. I strongly advise others to consider alternative insurance providers who truly stand by their commitments and value their customers.

I've been a loyal AIG customer for years, but the recent experience with their service has been nothing short of infuriating. It's June, and I still have claims from 2023, as well as the beginning of this year, that remain untouched and pending. Despite their continued excuses about being behind and facing a backlog, they have no trouble deducting money from my account on time. This is absolutely unacceptable. It's been 6 to 7 months, and I'm still waiting for my claims to be processed. Every time I contact them, I'm met with the same excuse: they're behind and haven't caught up. This level of inefficiency is staggering, especially when considering how long I've been with this company. What's even more frustrating is that it seems like the only time I see any action on my claims is when I write a negative review. This is incredibly stressful and unfair to me as a customer. To anyone considering AIG for their insurance needs, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The constant delays, lack of communication, and overall inefficiency are not worth the trouble. This company has let me down time and time again, and it's clear they do not prioritize their customers' needs. Avoid AIG if you value timely and reliable service.

AIG /Corebridge, charges HUGE fees to quote, monitor your whole life insurance account. The setup is 4,000, to meet, in order to be able to borrow against your policy. I have been with the company for almost 2 years and I'm no where close to meeting that, because they charge more than the principle can build up to the 4,000 dollars . If I wouldn't lose so much money, because I have invested for so long, like 400 to 500 dollars, I'd already cancelled my account, plus they charge you additional fees to close out your account. Don't do it, they are about money and not about helping. The fees that they charge outweigh the positive, supposedly good things about a whole life insurance policy. You have been forewarned

just the worst customer service I have ever had No one came back to me when I phoned, ( i was told it would be within 48 hours) When I complained a few weeks later someone from customer service phoned and left a voice message that they would call me back, and two months later they still have not I get emails saying they are looking into it. Its over four months. Are they that bad that I am in a queue. Honestly You could not write how bad they are
