"AVOID like the plague!!! I would give negative stars if I can.\n\nThis company is unprofessional, unhelpful and simply criminal. Parked there for a weekend and came back to more than \u00a3700 worth of damages to the car. Their spaces are so tight that any inexperience driver or on a rainy day, your car will get hit.\n\nDON'T LISTEN TO THEIR LIES. Whatever safe car park awards they are advertising are probably false. Their so called CCTV cameras are so few and far apart and do not actually cover the parking bays. No chance they will pick up any footage of a collision when your car is parked. And even requesting the CCTV footage was a huge pain in the bottom. After filing 2 online complaint forms, speaking to 8 different online agents and calling the actual car park office 6 times, the answer I got was they cannot tell me anything about the CCTV footage. All I wanted was to know whether their CCTV camera actually filmed my car in its spot or not, but they simply said they \"don't have time to look at the footage\". To me it sounds like 'you mean nothing to us after we take your money'.\n\nWhat's more frustrating is that the actual service provided was also appalling. They gave us a number to call when you land so that they can send a bus to pick you up from the airport to get to the car park. Took about 10 tries before we got through, each time playing an automated message that says, \"sorry the staff at Airparks is busy\". Then when we got through, they said that they will not send the bus until we are physical outside the airport and at the bus stop before they'll send a bus. We called again when we were outside in the cold and rain, again taking many tries before they answered and said a bus be there in 5 minutes. Little did we know 5 minutes for them meant 30 minutes. They refused to answer our calls again during our long wait in the cold and rain. Some people in our party even caught a cold from that wait.\n\nIn conclusion, if you value your car; your time; your money; or your dignity; pay a few pounds extra and go for the official Luton car parks. This incident I saved \u00a34 pounds in booking but wasted \u00a3700 + higher insurance premium (because I filed a claim to get the CCTV footage as the car park won't review the footage for me), hours of my time, and was rudely spoken to by all the Airparks Shortrun\/Holiday Extras employees. Some of them even ended an online chat after I said them refusing to help me is equal to aiding the hit and run offender. My advice is that take this review seriously and read some others who have said the same. I wish I had read the reviews before booking. This was my worst experience with a heartless corporation."

“Very easy to book and use, also with added discount (10%), and so close to the airport building. Takes lots of hassle out of arrivals and departures particularly arrivals when you are tired and just want to get home as quickly as possible. I have used this facility many times and it has improved greatly since I first used it.”

“I arrived at Leeds / Bradford Airport in the early morning of a very wet day. I could find no sign or indication of where the Parking area was - neither had I been given a postcode or clear indication of where to find the drop off point. I enquired from a Airport bus driver and he told me to park in the near by long stay car park and that my credit card would give me access. I did so. On returning I again placed my credit card in the slot on the way our and another £72.50 (including a processing fee) was deducted from my account. I failed to find a telephone number on which to ring asking for a refund. With hindsight I obviously did not use the Airparks service for which I had already pre-paid. I am an elderly person and I was hoping that your company might consider making a refund. I found the lack of clarity about where to bring my car on a wet morning very distressing. I would welcome some feedback from Airparks. Maurice Bartley.”

“Procedure on arrival was chaotic. I appreciate that things take a bit when many people arrive at the same time. But having no process to deal with it and instead let people figure out what they should do, or who even is in charge is not really excusable. On return things went ok. Not spectacularly fast but well within what you can expect from a meet&greet service.”

“The car park is easy to find and very convenient. You don't have to walk to the other end of the airport to phone your arrival back in Newcastle any more, as the phone is now situated in the baggage hall, saving time in being collected. Very friendly staff.”

“I booked on-line but when I arrived the machine did not seem recognize my registration. With a flight to catch I just took a ticket. On return (at 1AM), the machine then attempted to charge the full amount. The attendant did sort it out but it took about 10 minutes and he slight snottily told me I shouldn't have taken a ticket. He should have advised to stay still and turn on hazard lights while he checked this. I'm guessing I must have used the wrong entrance gate? If so the signs are insufficient.”

“This was a much easier way to park at the airport. Much less stressful than parking in the long stay and waiting for the shuttle bus, particularly when returning from a long haul flight. The car was ready to collect on the doorstep just a short walk from the terminal building. I would definitely use this service again.”

“Office staff a bit surly. Quite a wait before transport to the airport. Once in the bus the drive was great and found a shortcut to the airport to avoid heavy traffic.”

“ARRIVED - REGISTRATION RECOGNITION NOT WORKING. DIRECTED TO CAR PARK WHICH WAS FULL, SPOKE TO RUDE EMPLOYEE WHO TRIED TO INSIST THERE WERE LOADS OF SPACES, ONLY TO THEN RELUCTANTLY ADMIT HE WAS WRONG AND EVENTUALLY OPENED ANOTHER ONE FOR ME. WAITED 20 MINUTES FOR A COACH, NO ONE ANSWERED THE HELP CALL! ON RETURN, WAITED 20 MINUTES TO GET OUT AS MY TICKET DID NOT WORK (SEE TOP LINE FOR REASON). HAD TO GET 10 CARS TO REVERSE SO I COULD GET OUT. RUDE MAN IN OFFICE NOT BOTHERED, DID NOT GET OUT OF HIS CHAIR TO HELP, DID NOT SAY SORRY, JUST LAUGHED, AFTER I EVENTUALLY FOUND YOUR PAYMENT CONFIRMATION REFERENCE NUMBER ON MY PHONE, WHICH HE INSISTED ON (WHY MY REGISTRATION NUMBER WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ENOUGH GOD ONLY KNOWS) HE LET ME OUT! I KNOW NOTHING WILL BE DONE ABOUT THIS BUT IF I WAS IN CHARGE I WOULD FEEL VERY EMBARRASSED THAT I'M MANAGING A TERRIBLY RUN OPERATION. MY BUSINESS WOULD GO BUST IF IT WAS RUN LIKE THAT! “There was confusion over the return in that I was told to go to the place I'd dropped off. The return driver went to the lane the other side of the barrier. Needs to be clarified or better defined as to the areas”

“Booking the parking and parking the car was easy enough but when I inserted the ticket to exit the car park, a fee of £67 to pay showed on the meter and the barrier would not lift. I pressed the help button and spoke to an attendant who said that the parking booking reference code was invalid and that I should have used the airport's official web site to book parking. After several minutes of arguing, the attendant finally raised the barrier without further charge but I will be wary of using your site in future.”
